Don't miss in Dallas

Fabulous architecture and surprising digital experience in the grand hall. Have your picture taken in W's Oval Office. Plan on 2 hours, and reserve your tickets in advance.

It had been several years since my lasdt visit, and so we didn't think we'd need much time to go through it. But - we didn't allow enough time - We spent probably 1-1/4 hours and needed at least another hour. Don't miss the short film at the start; it's just such a treat to hear President and Mrs. Bush's... I thought these libraries just contained dusty old books. This facility was new, impressively built, and highly interactive. President Bush's involvement the response to 9/11 and his support to the effort to fight AIDs in Africa are very well covered.

We have been to many Presidential libraries and they are always worth the visit. So much history. It is a great way to get to know the people that have run our country.

Loved that this museum incorporated more about George W Bush as a man rather than his service as a president. Does include many areas where he focused on 9/11 and decisions he made as a President...right and wrong!

This is a must see on your trip. I now wish to see every Presidential Library that has been dedicated - the history and sheer amount of content was astounding! I do not care what political party you claim - this was well worth every penny. I plan to see the Carter Presidential library next. Simply amazing experience! Great cafe,... More

Beautiful museum the only small drawback is that parking is a substantial walk. We parked in the closest handicap spot and it was well over 100 yds. to the entrance. Inside there are several places to sit & view videos so you can rest. The displays are very interesting and informative. The 911 story & displays brought tears to my... More

This should definitely be on your "to do" list when visiting Dallas. The museum/library is located on a quiet corner of the SMU campus, about a ten minute drive from downtown Dallas. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with plants, grasses and trees that are native to Texas. The building has a grand entrance hall with a 360 degree video of... More
