We almost skipped going here but so glad we did not. Neat place for kids and adults. The architecture alone is worth the trip. 3D weather movie was great too. We did the City Pass and got the movie for free.

Is there a good restaurant nearby? If we leave, can we go back in on the same ticket if it's the same day?

The cafeteria inside the Museum has decent food, clean and in real working environment, which for kids is also learning experience. Going out of the premises and coming back, I don't recommend.
