My husband and I visited here in December. The museum has some really interesting exhibits and took us about an hour and a half to walk through. There are a few interactive things to try which helped to enhance the understanding of the science. I liked that many of the exhibits were specific to Texas. I think they have a... More

The museum is relatively new (2012, when it was relocated), the building itself is very modern. It’s very easy to reach and there’s plenty of parking paid parking). Price is 19$ for Adults and 12$ for children, it’s not very cheap, but it’s possible to save some $ by buying the Visit Dallas Pass, which combines the visit with other... More

The museum is located in central Dallas with plenty of paid parking around. Food inside is limited but plenty of restaurants outside. Great place to go with kids since there are a lot of kids activities. Also always external exhibits to go for

This is one of the best museums I have ever been to. There were so many great exhibits, with hands-on learning and exploring, appropriate for all ages. My niece (5) and nephew (3) could have spent the entire day in the very well designed basement play area. The "store" with produce to sort from the truck and a shopping list... More

Great museum! Very fun and educational. All the exhibits were great. The dinosaurs were massive and the minerals were just dazzling. We were here for the National Geographic Birds of Paradise exhibit, which was also very interesting. Would return and plan to spend many hours here.

We had a group ranging from 6 to 70 years old there was something for everyone, just not enough for the little ones. I think this would be a museum to go to by yourself so you could spend as much time as you wanted in the areas that interested you. I was surprised by the number of displays that... More

From the architecture to the living roof, this place is fantastic. The exhibits are world class, wish this was built when I was a kid living here in Dallas. H Ross Perot and his family gave Dallas and the world a museum that makes learning fun. The headphones tell you everything about what you are seeing, Have fun and I... More

We took my 10 and 14 year old girls. Great mix of everything from Dinosaurs to how oil drilling wells work. Beautiful building and courtyard. Something for everyone.

My family and I, kids 10 and 14 along with my mom and sister visited on a Monday afternoon. We really didn't give ourselves enough time to explore slowly since we arrived after 1. The museum wasn't busy. We didn't have to rush from exhibit to exhibit which was nice. All the employees that we interacted with were friendly and... More
