The KATY Trail is a re-purposed railroad line, mostly elevated, that runs about 5 miles end to end and passes through many interesting parts of Dallas and backs up to many apartment buildings, office buildings, and private residences. A great spot to excercise and people...More

Many of us have a goal of 10,000 steps (my I-watch is so cruel...) and the Katy Trail will allow you to achieve this goal with NO PROBLEM! It is a very nice, scenic trail through the heart of Dallas. You can even stop along...More

Was at continuing education meeting found this a short walking distance from my hotel. Wonderful relaxing clean place with many neat historic buildings close by. Very safe also. Really enjoyed this haven in the middle of a bustling downtown!

This is such a great trail but I was really sad to see so much trash. Great for running, walking or biking and very expansive just not as clean as I was expecting.

The trail is long and you can enter and exit at different locations... i like walking with a group of people and not on my own... you never know who can just show up in front of you...

I’m only giving it 4 stars because there were swarms of gnats. We were on scooters so several flew in my face. Other than that I had a fantastic time on this trail! Wear googles or sunglasses if you’re scooting/biking👌🏽

We read about the trail on Trip Advisor. We walked on a cloudy mid week day just after the rain had stopped so the trail was reasonably quiet. I imagine on a warm sunny weekend it would be crowded. A few people walking, jogging and...More
