Great for finding specialty items which are not usually in your local grocery.

Could spend hours here browsing the aisles.....reside in a small town with limited selections so this is like a smorgasbord of produce, wines, cheeses, and breads.
Have eaten lunch there previously, and it was very good as well. Also found the staff to be very knowledgeable and helpful.

Great prepared food - Filthy accommodations
Jul. 2019 • Couples
Stopped in for lunch and ordered a hot brisket bowl with faro and all the fixings. Food was delicious and what we could see of the kitchen, it was well-run. The actual seating area is filthy with multiple flies landing all about, despite an attendant who patrols the area and wipes down the tables. Problem is, only the tabletop gets any attention; leaving the edges untouched and sticky. The chairs appear to have never been wiped down, exhibiting layers of filth that should be unacceptable anywhere, let alone in an atmosphere where food is eaten.

I LOVE SHOPPING HERE
Dec. 2018 • Family
I've been shopping at this Central Market for over a decade, and it still remains one of my favorite grocery store locations. Central Market was HEB's answer to Whole Foods, and, boy, does it deliver. It's a grocery store for foodies, for sure. Great produce (really, really great produce), huge meat counter, large counter for fresh seafood, great prepared foods, local products, bakery, tortilleria, great wines, etc. It's got everything. The store is tight, but it's well laid out, and once you're familiar with the layout, you'll know the shortcuts for when you don't need to walk through the entire store. On this past trip to Dallas for Christmas, I was at this store twice. We got great Maryland style crab cakes, fantastic bulk breakfast sausage from the meat counter for a breakfast casserole (as well as all of the other ingredients for the casserole), tamales for Christmas Eve brunch, sides for Christmas Eve dinner (asparagus and ginger rice), some beautiful MacIntosh apples for a cheese plate, and some sweets from the bakery. The store was a madhouse because so many people were doing their last minute shopping for the holiday, but Central Market's crazy busy is still manageable. All of their cashier lines were open and we were in and out quickly. It's just a wonderful store for anyone that loves food.

Grocery store w pre-made foods ready to eat
Dec. 2018 • Family
Love the store as it appears all natural and variety of selections is amazing.
Like having the convienence of pre- made foods. Tried chicken tortilla soup, California roll with brown rice , garden salad , baked ziti w sausage and everything was delicious.
Instead of eating out at restaurants due to time constraints, we ate at the store as they have a sitting area to heat the food and enjoy your meal.
Would totally eat at the place as well as shop for grocery!
Chaotic parking but that seems normal for the city.

Store Grown Produce from a Growtainer
Oct. 2018 • Business
Central Market in Dallas has an indoor farm parked behind the store providing fresh hyper local greens. Grown in a specially built food safety compliant 53' Growtainer, this is truly the future of food. Bravo Central Market, you've got a Growtainer !

The traffic....
Aug. 2018 • Solo
Recently went to this location and the parking lot traffic is out if control plus once inside it's impossible to find anyone to ask a question. Starting to use instacart, which is great btw, now because this place is way too busy and they need a traggic cop.

AMAZING spread of foodie adventures
Aug. 2018 • Friends
My friend recommended I check out Central Market while visiting Dallas, this location in particular. While debating if I should add it to my itinerary, I browsed some pictures online and thought it was just a Dallas-version of Whole Foods. I'm so glad we ended up stopping there because it was AMAZING! Though we were just there to try to find some foods we could eat and take to go, walking through all the nooks and crannies of the building just added to my excitement. The produce section was bright and beautiful with samples of some fruits to taste their freshness and ripeness. There were vegetables stacked on mountains of ice to keep them fresh. There were cartons of in-season fruits of vegetables (like figs!) and a beautiful arrangement of fresh herbs - everything ranging from sage to lemongrass to rosemary and thyme.

The cheese section was SO big. A whole wall of refrigeration, big cheese wheels on display, cheese spreads and dips in another wall of refrigeration.

The bread section was just as amazing. Every kind of bread imaginable from french baguettes to sourdough loaves to muffins, etc. They had a couple breads available to sample with in-house whipped butter (delicious!).

The foods to go sections were awesome too, both hot and cold (they had sushi rolls). There was a whole area for dips and spreads and olives. There were ready-made sandwiches and salads as well as build your own sandwich delis. I made my own container to go of different quinoa and couscous salads.

There's a sitting area where you can heat and eat your foods past the cash registers. Really cute that they put vases of fresh flowers at each table. Natural lighting made the space feel even more comfortable.

The outside was really cute with sculptures of giant fruits welcoming you at the entrances. All around a very impressed visit to Central Market.
