For six decades, the Dallas Farmers Market has been a fixture in downtown Dallas. Recently, the Dallas Farmers Market was renovated to serve farmers/ranchers/producers as a prime market to direct sale to the public. This is an ideal farmers market to meet the producer of your food! Dallas Farmers Market has a 26,000 sq ft artisanal food hall with restaurants and shops that is open daily. The choices are wide and varied: Abundantly Aromatic, Bellatrino, Bullzerk, Cajun Tailgators, Caribbean Cabana, Chelle's Macarons, Coolhaus, Dallas Antique, Doc Popcorn, El Mero Mero, Laili, Lone Chimney, Market Provisions, Mudhen, Nammi, Palmieri Cafe, Rex's Seafood, San Miguel Imports, Scardello, Si Tapas, Stocks & Bondy and Taqueria La Ventana The outdoor shed is a one-stop shop on weekends for seasonal produce, grass-fed meats, pastured eggs, honey, and some of the best food artisans making pastries, salsas, pickles, sausages, breads, and more! The Shed (open-air) is open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

We walked arounf after breakfast nearby and almost wish we hadn't eaten. There were lots of great little ethnic places to eat as well as everything from fish to bread to vegetables for sale. Lots of fun booths selling other crafts and local Texas 'stuff'.

Comes hungry, and feast on samples. Amazing area and views of downtown outside of the farmers market.

What fun! I just visited the Dallas Farmers Market and see that it had been remodeled. It is very urban and has quality vendors. The vendors have offerings of natural products, creative items, and great food. We had such a fun time.

What a wonderful place. Locally grown fresh produce and meats, arts and crafts, and places to eat. I hope Dallas continues to grow this area - it could be a huge tourist and local destination.

We were in town for a concert but had time to kill. This place is great. Wide variety of food and products set up in a great environment. Can't wait to go back to hit one of the many restaurants inside.

I expected a teue farmers market, full od fresh veggies and fruit, with some authentic Tex-Mex food vendors. The market is sprinkled with fresh veggies here and there, mostly vendors selling their arts, crafts and homemade foods. Nice collection of interesting items. The inside market was more boutique foods with small spaces to sit and enjoy. Nice outing to walk... More

My first time visiting today. Very eclectic. Vegetables, jewelry, clothing, beauty products, lots of food vendors. We made some bread purchases and organic natural skin products for the dog! The indoor Market was beautiful! It was a nice way to spend a couple of hours.

I was thrilled to go to the Farmers Market on a recent visit to Dallas. I believe it's open daily except for holidays. In addition to the fresh fruit and vegetable stalls there is a large building with multiple food stalls and craft type stores. All kinds of delicious eating choices so you can't go wrong! There are comfortable eating... More

Have lived in Dallas 31 years. The Farmers Market are should be ashamed compared to other cities. First they had the wholesalers and than they tore down the sheds and promised something unique. Now it is sparse with poor displayed produce and pricier than what you get at a local supermarket.

Something unique is happening at the Dallas Farmers Market as the produce now comes directly from farms! This change happened last year and it is taking awhile for the customers to understand that produce is seasonal unlike what the wholesalers could set up for displays. The farmers market will continue to rebuild with more farmers cultivating and growing now that... More

Felt like more of an outdoor market for selling produce and goods rather than pushing the goods of local growers. I have come across what appeared to be vendors selling products from California and other growing areas. That is not to say you can't find locals. I have bought products and meat raised locally. For a city of this size... More
