A fun place to be after a nice brunch. The zoo is small, but it is nice to just walk around and listen to the zoo keepers give talks about the animals.

The zoo is on the smaller side but still a good time. They have the keepers give informational talks at certain exhibits. Perfect for a nice casual Sunday outing.

Not the greatest or the largest zoo that I've ever been to in my lifetime but I will say that the zoo in Dallas is very good. Had a nice time and the price was fair. The animals appear well treated and their enclosures well...More

Loved the exhibits for the animals. Plenty of viewing areas for kiddos. The park itself is just beautiful. Trees, landscaping, etc. Seems to have plenty of shade, which is great during those summer days.

Had my grandson's 10th birthday party at the zoo and had a great time. All the animals were out. So many things to see and do especially for kids.

Lots of animals but lots of fence makes photos impossible. Dirty glass makes photos difficult. Most of the animals in a natural setting were too far away. Not impressed. We have been to a lot of zoos and this one is not rated high for...More

If you are at a hotel anywhere on a DART rail line, it is easy to get to the zoo. If you are not near DART rail line, take Uber to the nearest station. Zoo is on the red DART line.
Is any picnic areas in the zoo, can I take my own food and drinks?
