My fiance and I took our pre wedding photos there and this is really nice. Weather was perfect and the grounds are very well kept up with. Very big place so you will need a couple hours or more to see everything. Flowers, trees, etc were all very nice and ALIVE ! Couple downsides I would say is that it... More

I decided to give the Dallas Arboretum a second chance and I am ever so glad I did! This experience was wonderful. The landscape was in full bloom. I had heard the tulip display in the spring was remarkable so I planned my trip. I was not disappointed! We had lunch on the patio of Restaurant DeGolyer listening to the... More

This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. I was there this month (March) and the tulips and azaleas were stunning. Views of the lake are gorgeous. If you have never been the this Arboretum and you live in Dallas --GO! If you are visiting Dallas-- GO!

We went to see that Tulip festival. We were not too hopeful as there was a major hail storm just 2-3 days back, but to our pleasant surprise, the flowers were still standing :) This is a good place to visit. Do not expect endless landscapes of flowers/gardens but considering that this place is in middle of a large city,... More

I have been to the Dallas Arboretum many times and it is always a beautiful and inspiring place in which to wander and maybe have a picnic. (There are also restaurants.) As a resident of Dallas who tries hard to have a colorful garden but who is constantly frustrated by the climate, insects etc, I am always amazed and inspired... More

We went the day before Easter so it was crowded but a beautiful day and the flowers were gorgeous! Tulips abounded and we were a bit sad we had not thought to eat lunch at one of the restaurants. We enjoyed seeing all the tulips and flowers, and we like to find places to walk around for exercise so it... More

When the weather is as nice as it was on 26 Mar, the instinct to be outside is obvious. The Arboretum & Botanical Gardens is undoubtedly the place to visit to maximize outdoor time whether by yourself or with loved ones. My fiancé and I found it to be a bit pricey ($15/car & $15/adult & No Military discount) for... More

We attended a business function in one of the facilities and the surroundings were absolutely stunning. The smell of fresh flowers was prominent.
