How can you go to Dallas at this time of year and not see the fair? It was just as hokey as we expected (for example, pig races), but we had a great time walking around.

Great activities. Super mid-way. Great livestock showings. Excellent football in the Cotton Bowl when Texas beats ou. Tremendous exhibits both cultural, historical, international.

First time to the state fair of Texas. First disappointment for an out-of-stater was that it is the parking lot of the Cotton Bowl! Second disappointment was that most of it was a car show? Really? Fail to see how that has anything to do...More

Nothing special. Just on a larger scale. Food, rides, and games are exactly the same as you will see at any other fair.

I swear almost every employee here we encountered was rude with the exception of the ladies at the info booth. One of the employees we stopped to ask where a specific location was told us “I don’t know,” and walked off. If it weren’t for...More

This was a great fair! Spent all day and could spend another day there. There is a lot of things to do and see. The food was good and there was a big variety of rides for the kids. Would recommend and will return.

We really enjoyed the State Fair. We walked around, enjoyed all the vendors, shows and activities and eating at all the vendors. We went with a group of 20 and we all had a blast. However, we did not ride any rides, so cannot comment...More
