My kids love the Connections Center where they can interact and do hands-on artistic activities. And it's great that the DMA is always free to the public.

The Dallas Museum of Art is spacious, air conditioned, and free! Our teen was super excited by the ($) fashion exhibit. The rest of the family chilled in the beautiful setting. We all enjoyed many of the temporary and permanent exhibits.

Despite the economic power of Texas, which theoretically should influence its capacity to host a great art collection in its main museum, this is not the case. Although it's a nice museum, it really lags behind from other main cities' art museums.

I'm sorry, but I really don't know the answer to that but they are very helpful so I would think if you call the museum they could let you know. :)
