Initially we trudged across the grass to view the memorial but discovered the real entrance adjacent to a small parking lot. Look for the box that has the brochures with information about the memorial but even better listen to the audio tour that can be...More

This memorial is very well done. We went at dusk when the path and ring were lighted. It was kind of hard to read all of the quotes on the individual portals since it was dark, but it was solemn and beautiful.

This is a nice memorial to victims of the bonfire tragedy. As someone with no affiliation to A&M, it would have been nice to have more description and explanation.

This is a must do in Aggieland. Take someone along with you who knows the history and this place will bring you to tears. If you happen to see an Aggie ring in one of the arches, just leave it. We leave them there for...More

Visited at sunset...a beautiful and moving tribute to those lost in this tragedy. I liked the symbolism incorporated into the design & also the tributes to each individual.

The bonfire memorial was a very moving experience for my wife and me. The tributes to each of the 12 was personal and respectful. This simple memorial is well done and captures the symbolism of bonfire and aggie spirit.

Nicely done memorial on the Texas A&M campus. It is quiet and restful there. Some of the memorial information for each student was hard for me to read. Whomever designed the memorial did a great job. The one drawback to going to the memorial is...More

Visited this a couple of years ago because my husband was an Aggie. I loved coming here then and I’ve recently been back and had the chance to properly read everyone’s memorial. They’re so well written I feel as thought I actually knew everyone personally...More
