We live in the Dallas-Fort Worh area and we love to take our RV there for a short 1-2 day campout and use the full hookup campsite. We have been there 3 times in the last 2 months. The lake is a spring-fed gem: the...More

When we first got to the park we were VERY impressed. The grounds were clean and well maintained. The trails were great and the lake was beautiful. We wouldn't have hesited to give this place 5 stars UNTIL the park staff completely ruined our experience!!!!!...More

It had been a while since we had visited this park so I went scouting it out. It was everything that I remembered it to be and then some. The Staffers were very friendly, and the park is absolutely beautiful. Anyone coming here would not...More

My neighbor and I took her grandkids and my son for Halloween. People camp out and decorate their campsites and pass out candy to the kiddos. We really enjoyed it. Nice, clean park.

We got together with some friends for a day trip. It's a short 55 minute drive from Arlington, which makes it a great getaway for our family. The hiking was mostly wooded, which was nice, and kept us mostly cool since we were in the...More

We camped here a few years ago in our RV. The sites were in the trees, allowing us plenty of shade and options as to where to put the hammock. Revisited earlier this month to find the fishing pier has been completely redone. It has...More

You're not far from the city but you feel like you're a thousand miles away. Tucked into a valley and built around a CCC created spring-fed lake, the park has received facility upgrades recently. Campsites aren't too close together. There are an abundance of trails,...More

I am just an overage kid, and I love riding my hybrid bike on the state park asphalt roads. This park is a great balance for riding, not as many hills as Tyler, not as flat or short as Tawakoni. For camping or day use...More

I don't think there is a limit, unless you plan on living there. If I read right some where it "might" be 2 weeks, but as long as you pay I don't see why there would be a limit. You can always call and double check.
