Very quite park and lots of great hiking trails. The big trail around the lake is great. Mowed and lots of up and down hills. The Camp Creek Loop was a little overgrown and with the snakes in Texas it may be jumpy. We camped in No#13. A little tight to get a 28ft camper into but we did. No... More

I went hiking with my son's Cub Scout pack on Saturday morning. It was overcast and cool, so it was perfect. We started with Spillway Trail and continued to Inner Loop Trail. The Spillway itself was interesting with patches of wildflowers blooming along the trail. Not long after we turned to Inner Loop Trail, we started seeing wildflowers in abundant.... More

The park is located a little narrow range. And it seems a little narrow for visitors on Saturday and Sunday. The tents were placed next to each other at a very close distance. I did not see a park souvenir shop which is displayed on the map. It is shown on the map that you can use WiFi which is... More

We camped for one night in site 44 along the waters edge. It was a very relaxing evening. We fished right from our campsite, didn't catch anything tho! Our visit was short so we didn't have time to fully explore the park and can't wait to go back so we can see more.

I've stayed at Cleveland State Park on several occasions. I've camped in a camper, a tent, and I've just been there to visit. This time was just a visit with my daughter, my service dog and her service dog in training. We only had time for one trail. They have an abundance of trails for hiking or biking. They have... More

From reading the Texas Parks and Wildlife magazine I noticed that Cleburne State Park was listed as one of the States hidden gems. today's even though I live only 35 minutes away I had never been to this park. Cleburne State Park really is a hidden gem. It's a secluded hideaway for campers, hikers and fishers. On today's visit there... More

My family and I went to the State park to fish and have a cook out and hike a little. It was fabulous! The restroom facilities are nice and clean. It is a beautiful park to visit. I highly recommend it!

Beautiful park with great fishing spots, good camp grounds, clean bathrooms and great hiking and biking trails. Rangers are very helpful and courteous. Definitely check out the spillway that was hand carved.. Great place for a family outing!

Nice park for camping, hiking, fishing and wildlife. We saw deer every day. A lot of cool twisted cedar trees! The only downside is there's no cell connection (Verizon). We stayed at the very back with full hook ups. After Sunday, there were very few campers until Friday. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Clean facilities, nice little swim area... More
