If you are driving on Hwy 71 to or from Austin, Berdoll is a must stop for great Texas pecans and other treats. If you need a gift for yourself or someone, stop in to see all the goodies they offer for inside and outside. The kids love to have a photo taken with Ms. Pearl, the squirrel.

Stopped because we saw the GIANT squirrel outside. First, there is a GIANT squirrel. Lol. Second, there is pie in a VENDING MACHINE. Pie. In a vending machine. Whole pie. And other stuff. Then, you go INSIDE. Mmmmmmmm........they have samples everywhere. We bought fudge and local honey. Both were amazing. If I could have, I would have bought one of... More

While driving back home I pulled over to grab a bag of pecans. The first thing to do is get a selfie with Ms Pearl which is a huge squirrel statue. As you walk towards the entrance you also see a vending machine which dispenses pecan pies. You are greeted nice and start shopping for all varieties of pecans from... More

Ms Pearl the Squirrel is the Largest Squirrel statue in the world, she is stands holding onto a pecan nut with a smile on the side of Hwy 71 right outside of Austin. She is NOT to be missed. This may be the best marketing tool to draw people into the Berdoll Pecan Candy & Gift Co. Inside, the store... More

Cute gift shop with tasty treats. Abundant samples all of which were delicious. Can't wait to try the purchased pecan pie. Very nice and helpful staff.

My husband and I have seen the Berdoll Pecan Farm multiple times driving down Hwy 71 going to Buc-cee's. This time we decided to check them out. Once we parked we immediately saw a pecan and pecan pie vending machine. WHAT???!!! The vending machine allows you to purchase after hours and you can pay with either cash of credit. Upon... More

Best place for unique Texas gifts and souvenirs, fresh pecans, yummy fudge, local honey, jams and jellies, and my favorite chocolate pecan pie! If you're driving on Hwy. 71 between Bastrop and Austin, you should definitely stop by! And be sure to take a picture with Miss Pearl (the giant squirrel out front)!

We received a 5# bag of pecans as a gift. Unfortunately, they arrived smashed (they were not sent directly from Berdoll). The response to the problem was a cheerful voice telling me that the nuts would be replaced and sent immediately. I have never experienced better or more gracious service and want to thank Chrystal for her understanding and help.

I bought 10 pounds of pecans at Buc ee and have been terribly disappointed in the appearance of the pecans. All most all of them have black spots on the meat. I would NEVER recommend these pecans to anyone.

I was looking for some Texas postcards (the only place I could find them in Bastrop) and also bought some pecans and local honey. I have ordered online and had Christmas tins shipped for out of town family and friends. Always a welcome gift, I'm told. Best selection of Texas souvenirs.
