We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A friendly and polite young lady in the office opened up the pool area so we could use the restroom. We took a short walk and saw lots of deer. We'd love to come back in warmer weather.

While the park is "closed" for normal activity, my fiance' and I enjoyed walking around the paved trail in the evening. The river is beautiful!

We love this little park. There is a river that wanders through it, there are fields for sports and trails to hike. Plus BBQ’s to grill out with. It’s not much but it is just a nice place to spend an afternoon.

Park was nice. Small river running on edge of park. Gave 4 points due to poison ivy and some trash not cleaned up.

Wonderful park with miles of trails, natural river, lovely picnic options, soccer fields and much more. The kids and I love the running track and the trails. The park is the location of the city pool (costs to enter). The park can get very crowded on the weekends but during the week its a lovely place to visit.

recently ran a 5K run through this park. It's very large, open and spacious. The basketball court is dated, but overall it's nice and peaceful. Decent volleyball court

The park is beautiful, especially for smaller kids. They have 2 playgrounds, one has a swing & stuff for bigger kids to climb. The Medina River goes around the park & the sites, are Beautiful. Kids enjoyed walking by the river & jumping around. We didn't do any fishing, but next time we might.

We so wished we would have found this park before our last evening in town. It was a big treasure in a little town!

This park is along a small river. There are hiking trails, a walking track, equipment for children to play, picnic tables and small trails that lead down to the stream. There is an RV park on the property also.

Castroville is a quick drive west of San Antonio, and a true jewel for an easy day trip. There are lots of delicious and reasonable restaurants/ fast food places to pick up a snack, and the Regional Park is downright wonderful this time of year. There are several hiking trails for different abilities/interests in the park, and the sleepy Medina River with its inviting shade and easy access is irresistible (the river is not for swimming, but there is a pool with public access for a nominal fee). There are playgrounds for the little ones, pets are allowed on a leash...this park has a lot to offer. While you are in Castroville, there are several wonderful little shops and if you decide to make a weekend of it, there are places to stay. Take advantage of Spring!
