Food was very good at lunch. Service was pleasant even though I got chips instead of fries after the server verified my order twice. The homemade chips turned out to be an excellent replacement so I could not really complain. Tried fried pickles which were also good. There are beautiful outdoor seating areas. The Camp Verde historical site ( the... More

Very beautiful shopping area beside a fabulous restaurant. They have a lot of different items especially dealing with camels. Had a wonderful time.

I always enjoy browsing through here. I've never seen so much stuff I don't need! Everyone is very friendly. I love the little signs with catchy phrases and the kitchen gadgets. If you're driving through, it's worth a stop.

Lunch was OK, not great. But then I am not really a Deli Sandwich person. I had the burger and chips. It was a good burger, but not outstanding. The best part was dessert; I had the pecan cobbler with a scoop of ice cream. It came topped with a little chocolate camel. It is always very busy, so service... More

Been a few times. Lots of kitchen gadgets and scented lotions and soaps. Nice purses. Neat little store to roam around in.

After eating at the Camp Verde Restaurant, we waddled over to pursue the 2-story General Store. LOTS to see! From kitchen gadgets to elegant serving dishes to candles to children games and toys to jewelry to specialty foods to art - WOW - just sooooooooooooo much to see, plan on spending at least an hour, even if you do nothing... We were referred to Camp Verde by word of mouth and were pleasantly surprised when Camp Verde appeared like an oasis in the middle of nowhere. To begin - It is so much more than a restaurant and general store that it deserves to get to the top of your must see and do list! The buildings have been restored... More

Two story new building of beautiful things for gift giving. I didn't find anything unique enough or useful enough to buy for myself. This general store is FILLED with high end items. Although the restaurant next door was PACKED for lunch on a February weekday, there were only a few women looking at items in the general store, and I... More

Luckily we went here on our way elsewhere because there was a lot of shopping available and we weren't in that frame of mind. We read about the history of the area and even drove a mile down a side road to see the remains of the fort. We were not there at lunch time so didn't get to try... More
