Very nice place to visit. Cowboy church before rodeo. Great job Pastor Ronnie. Rodeo was Great. Food and beverages as well as admission was very reasonably priced. The only negative was the dance and music after the rodeo. The place instantly turned into a teenage meat market gyrating and grinding to everything but country music. Hip hop line dancing. Nothing... More

Thanks for coming by, David. I'm glad you enjoyed everything from the Cowboy Church service to the rodeo fun and food. I can understand your disappointment with the dance scene this visit, though, and I'm sorry you didn't get to dance with your wife. I can assure you that it's not like this every time, and I hope to have... More

Rodeo every Saturday night March to November. C&W dance with rotating bands following the rodeo. If you visit San Antonio this venue is 20 miles north in the hill country. Have visited half a dozen times and take out-of-town visitors for some Texas entertainment. Food and drinks available and reasonably priced.

Went to Tejas Rodeo on Saturday evening with my son & 5 year old grandson. Somewhat apprehensive. No reason to be - these guys put on a rodeo every Saturday evening from March through November. Very well done - our grandson did mutton bustin and the calf scramble and the my son & grandson rode the mechanical bull. This is... More

Thanks for giving us a shot at showing you how a local rodeo can get down. We love what we do, and it's awesome to hear the whole family got to be involved. Not sure if you had a chance to check out the steakhouse this visit, but if not, I can't wait to see what you think of it... More

If you want to get a real taste of Texas this is the place. The rodeo was entertaining and just long enough. Food offerings were appropriate to the venue; not bad and reasonably priced. People watching was also fun.

We live close to this area and my husband told me about it. He had had dinner there one night years ago and said it was great. When we as a family of three went, all adults, it was very disappointing. There were only a handful of people inside and that is where we sat. After ordering, it took too... More

I'm disappointed to hear that your experience with us wasn't quite up to par, Michelle. We're certainly all about providing a delicious meal prepared in line with your request, and I'm sorry to hear that there was some inconsistencies with the dishes you ordered. I can assure you that this isn't like us, and I'll be looking into this right... More

After spending few months in San Antonio for work exploring the city and its attraction I finally found some authentic vibe in Rojas rodeo. Distant 40m drive from downtown, this place immersed in the countryside offers quite a lot: entertainment, food, drinks a live music. The atmosphere is relaxing, the food is definitely tasty and you can enjoy some country... More

We had no idea about this place until recently, even though it's only about 45 minutes from us. Once we found out about it we wanted to make sure we went on a Saturday night when the rodeo takes place. We made reservations for dinner which was important because it's a very busy place. The restaurant was excellent, probably a... More

What a great night! I had never been to a Rodeo before and was up for an adventure. There is so much to do here and it works for all ages. There is a cute little General store that sells T-shirts and hats. There are a couple of vendors set up front with belts, buckles, wallets, jewelry, and of course... More

We were so excited to come to this rodeo and restraunt. Was very nice facility and staff. Restraunt is expensive but very good. But food served at concessions smelled very good. We loved the arena and show. Only problem was that people were constantly walking in front of us blocking view. Also even though there were signs alot.of people stood... More

If you are in the San Antonio area, this is the place to be for rodeo. The quality of entertainment is high. You're not going to watch 15 buck-offs in every event, the rodeo announcers are professional and exciting, and there is crowd involvement including kids events. Worth the short drive out of town to check it out. Arrive early... More
