I love bringing my kids here on Dollar Day. My kids are young, so I don't think it's worth the regular cost to bring them, but for $1 apiece (and the youngest is free!), it's a gold mine! They briefly browse the museum exhibits, but they spend most of their time in the exploration/play room. There are many live animals... More

Museum does very good special exhibits. But, the rest of the museum seems crowded, a bit musty, not very well thought out or displayed. Needs a total redo. Not a place to spend a lot of time at or go back to. Very disappointing.

I love the ever-changing exhibits as well as the permanent ones. This is a delightful, little museum chock full of interesting animal and fossil exhibits. The gift shop, outdoor areas, architecture, and staff are so very pleasant and make a visit there really worth the time!

We took our granddaughter for a trip to the Museum. She loves all the dinosaurs fossils, so she chose a trip to the Museum of Natural History instead of the Children's Museum. We spent the afternoon there. We all enjoyed the different exhibits. We went to all the different rooms and exhibits. The place is small but has lots of... More

The Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History is a small museum, but is great for kids who want to learn. My granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed it and the exhibits are indeed educational. A great place to spend a couple of hours with your kids.

This is fairly average for a Texas County Museum. Adjust your expectations, this is not a huge museum in a large metropolitan area, it will be small and quaint. The Tarzan exhibit was such a fun and odd find, but completely worth browsing. Some really neat local history artifacts and the live animals were an added bonus. Worth a quick... More

This museum is small but definitely worth it. I took my little brother in the Spring and they had a "temporary photography exhibit" and it was fabulous! The permanent exhibits were excellent as well. I wish more towns had these small museums. It is awesome educational exposure for young kids rather than just taking them somewhere for entertainment. Would definitely... More

Very small place. Limited permanent exhibits. Third rate. Some traveling exhibits. Costly for what you get.

My grandchildren LOVE this place! They have been to this museum at least three times (only 5 and 3 years old) and they can spend over 3 hours in the place. My husband and I took turns as they enjoyed every activity (I had some other shopping and errands to do). They have plenty of toys at home, but something... More
