This ice cream has been a Texan treat since 1911.

They still have a cool historical museum to check out for free and an ice cream parlor upstairs in another part of the building! My only complaint is that they served Triple Chocolate ice cream there but it isn't sold in stores yet!! I miss my favorite ice cream so much!!

There are some things that are uniquely Texan and Blue Bell ice cream is one of them. We were on the 290 to Brenham and had to stop at the museum and sample their products of course. I love the old delivery truck and bronze statue out front.

Disappointed that they still are not giving tours. Not much to see or do...a baseball museum of local players and pros. The gift shop is really nice and they have changes in merchandise often but the greatest part is the ice cream from the little Shop. Each scoop is only $1 and they fill the cup. I like trying different... More

Always a great tour! We always have to take visitors when they come. Sadly it is just not the same company though since the listeria fiasco.

We made a quick stop after passing by. Unfortunately there are no factory tours but there is a nice visitor center showing the history of Blue Bell. The ice cream parlor offers $1.00 huge scoops of delicious ice cream, a real bargain! I wish we lived closer or we would be stopping all the time!

The Blue Bell visitor/history center is somewhat interesting; due to previous production problems, there are no creamery tours; we were told that any tours will not start again until 2017 or 2018; you go to the second floor of the main building to get some ice cream; $1 for generous scoops of oh-so-good ice cream; throw your diet out the... Take an informative tour or just head upstairs to the tasting area. You can sample a multitude of classics and exotic flavors then have a cone or cup. Delicious! Fun items in the adjoining store and don't miss the historical display of local baseball players located on the first floor.
