Yummy pickles!

What a fun store! You don't often see antiques and pickles together! The owner greeted us when we walked in and told us to have a sample of the pickles. They were SO good. She... read more

I first had a 'Fickle Pickle' a couple of years ago at a friend's house. The pickle was alright... Good enough to want to try again. I went into the shop on Labor Day, last month... The only positive thing was how friendly the girl at the counter was. They had samples of pickles out... I tried one again. They... More

What a fun store! You don't often see antiques and pickles together! The owner greeted us when we walked in and told us to have a sample of the pickles. They were SO good. She told us they ship all over the USA and internationally. She was so sweet. Just loved to visit and gave us lots of helpful hints.... More

My friend actually rents a booth here, so I go with her to Boerne every couple of weeks. I always find something in the booths that I have to have, whether it is old or newer vintage home accents. I love the smell of the "secret recipe" pickles that you can purchase here. There's a big bowl of the spicy/sweet... More

Good selection but my browsing was cut short when I overheard a customer ask a price on an item and the clerk told him that that particular person who owned that item was out of town and unavailable. He thanked the clerk and she told him that she could set it aside. He quietly chuckled and told her no thank... More

I think the antiques are more an afterthought than they once were. The main focus seems to be on the family made pickles. I find the smell of the pickles & vinegar intoxicating, but I make pickles at home so I'm a fan. If you're looking for antiques, the selection is slim. But if you love pickles, pop in and... More

I found the name of the store interesting, but the smell of pickles is what drew me in. The pickles were delicious!!! I also liked the other items in the store that were antiques. The saleswoman was very friendly and knowledgeable about her pickles.

These pickles are unlike any I've ever tried. We bought 2 jars to take home and plan on ordering more when we are out. Plus the antique store makes it fun to look around. We bought some old boy scout/cub scout books that were pretty cool.

If you're eve.r in Boerne (Texas, that is), you have to stop by Fickle Pickles. You've never had pickles like these. It's a must stop whenever we have guests in town. Almost everyone grabs a jar to take home. The pickles are great by themselves or used in potato salad, deviled eggs, or a dirty martini. Makes everything more special.... More

It was rather warm the day we were there and no ad, but it didn't keep us from finding several must haves. We also bought some of their pickles. They have a bit of a bite, but oh so good.

They do have the best pickles although expensive. The rest of the place doesn't offer much as far as antiques, and/or décor. They have a place in Bandera also. They are very friendly though.
