Fun visit

There is a great outdoor area and nice tap room. The beers are great and the tour was very informative. They have a food truck coming soon so it will be even better.

We happened to be staying in Wimberley on a Thursday night, so we lucked out that Real Ale Brewery does a free tour on Fridays. Not only that, but we only had 4 in our group, so our guide, Adam, who leads the brewing efforts here, led us on a personal tour. What we really enjoyed was the friendly staff... More

Looking for a beer to go with our takeout BBQ in Blanco, and saw the sign pointing to "Brewery". It was a cold evening, and close to dusk, so we weren't sure it would be open, but we turned up into the road and started searching. After winding around and behind other buildings, we found what appeared to be a... More

We were not impressed with the beer but that is just our personal preference, it was a great environment.

Had a nice evening here at the Real Ale Brewery. Very laid back, family atmosphere. Always interesting beers on tap and a relaxing atmosphere.

I love Real Ale for their consistently excellent brews and innovative brewing. Real Ale is one of the largest craft brewers in Texas and is located in the hill country, a great place to tour. They've added an upstairs tasting room that is contemporary and has a fantastic view of the bottling operation. The Real Ale folks are genuinely fantastic... More

Driving home from the river, we were hot and thirsty and saw the sign so in we went. We missed the free tour and the place was quite busy. One of the bartenders was less than friendly upon our arrival there, like we were annoying her. Despite her not being very helpful, we ordered a couple pints that were quite... More

The facility is nice. It is on the 2nd floor but they do have a somewhat-hard-to-find-from-the-outside elevator so you don't have to take the stairs if you are unable to make it up them. We were there to celebrate my wife's birthday. We had 3 beer flights for a group of 7--a total of 12 beers--so that we could try... More

My wife's company had a private function at Real Ale where we had the Taproom to ourselves for 2 hours. The place is fun to visit and the beers are great. They also provided us a quick tour which was really nice since they were actually in the middle of production and canning. The area around Real Ale is also... More

We visited real ale on a winery and brewery tour group. It was our last stop and it was great! We all enjoyed a 4 piece tasting and then got to choose a pint! By far my favorite was the gose! So lemony and crisp and refreshing! I could drink that all day! We also got to take home a... More
