Best kept secret in Baytown

A park that is free if you have a Baytown address. I highly recommend going to this place and if you learn the background story you’ll appreciate even more.

Beautiful place

It's pretty and super relaxing to hang out or fish. Not a lot of people during the weekday but on the weekend it does get full.

The pink spoonbills are amazing

This is an excellent place to get away from it all and get back in touch with nature. There are trails along the water to spot many types of birds and wildlife.

Great way to spend a morning!

I absolutely LOVED this place. It's cheap - $4 to get in CASH ONLY. I saw a wide variety of fowl including song birds, pelicans, red-tailed hawk, killdeer, rosette spoonbills, various egrets & herons and osprey. I will definitely be returning to this park.
