Took the grandchildren for a walk and fishing. Great area along the banks of the river to walk and let the kids explore. Then it was time to fish a little... my granddaughter caught her first fish! They have a really nice playground also. Fun for all!!!!!!

The equipment was updated after flooding. Nice park that the kids enjoyed. You can often see geese down by the water. The park doesn't have much shade so pick your tones to go! Our kids have enjoyed the splash pad at other times too.

Fisherman's Park is a great local park right on the Colorado River. Great hike and bike trail, paved, wide and right along the river. Easy to do, just 1/2 mile in one direction. Places to rest or sit quietly along the way. This park features a covered pavilion with grills. Additional benches, grills and garbage cans located throughout. Nice playground... More

We take our dog here frequently and enjoy the shade along the river path. It is peaceful and beautiful.

It is a pretty good place to take our 6 yo granddaughter. There are a few "toys" for the kids, slide, swing, etc, ducks, a boat ramp (not for kids, of course), and the river walk. Was under water for a few weeks because LCRA was releasing water - hope LCRA doesn't regret that, later.

Since the area recent received massive amounts of rain a great deal of the park was closed as were the "river walk", all due to high water and very soggy ground. We were still pleased and would definitely come back.

Enjoyed an afternoon stroll along Fishermans Park. Walked the trail one direction and walked Main Street to view the shops on the way back to our car.
