Great for tubing and a day of picnic. Clean waters. Good flow. Accessible from the River Oak Inn, where I stayed; and Bricks River Cafe, where I ate

Cool water shaded with cypress trees and little island areas for camping while kayaking. There are two damn in the Medina near the town of Medina, but you can port around them. Check water levels, can get pretty low during drought conditions.

River was low when we seen it but it had a pretty green color to it and seemed to be pretty clear water. Lot of people swimming in it. Seen some nice huge trees and wildlife.

Absolutely beautiful river! The water is amazing! The water level was a little low but was so much fun to kayak!

Clear running waters lined with big cypress trees make this a natural attraction. Bandera has a public park (fee required) along the river within the town, but most of the river runs through private property.

There is a very long stretch of the Medina River which is lined with picnic tables and can be accessed for swimming. Parking is directly behind it and the riven is very clear and a beautiful green color. Very nice.

It depends on where you are at as some places are low, but in Bandera, they are floating and swimming in it.
