Had a great visit here on 6/14/18. Cascade Hollow is a beautiful place. The tour is not too long - about an hour at most - though it will be very hot in un-airconditioned spaces on summer days. I do wish we had carried a...More

The small size of this operation makes this a great way to learn about the process. Knowledgeable and helpful guide made the tour fun and interesting. The tasting at the end of the tour was done very well. Good overall experience if you want a...More

It’s an interesting tour, a lot about the history and the people are very nice. I took one star off because the selection to purchase after the tour is very small. It’s totally worth the trip if you’re touring the area. Very nice few hours...More

Our visit to George Dickel Distillery was a surprise. We rarely take the tours but chose to take this one. They difference in the quality and effort shown really surprised us. They truely do it the hard way by hand, rather than fully automated. The...More

Very good tour. Our guide was so informative and hospitable. I don't drink but was fascinated with the process and could definitely appreciate the fact they are very involved in each process and batch. A second visit is being planned.

This was definitely off the beaten path but very enjoyable. I'll never be a whiskey drinker, but if you are, this tour is a must. I am not much of a drinker of anything but water, but still enjoyed the tour and the tasting. Make...More

George Dickel a nice drive into the Tennessee country from Nashville. Our tour guide was informative and humorous. Sampling’s of their whiskey was fun including no.1 that has a cross between of tequila and moonshine taste. Yee haw!

On the free tour yes...but not the tasting tour. I would call for times of the free tours before going.

Sorry but I do not remember Mike recommending a restaurant, He may have recommended one while I was inhaling the vapors of the fermentation process.
