After reviewing tour information on the George Dickel website, an extended family group went to the distillery for the tour. We believed that the basic tour would be free and that most of us would pay $10 for an “extended tour” which included a whiskey...More

We stopped on our way from Fayetteville to Lexington. The property was nice but the staff didn't even acknowledge us once we entered.

Mike led our tour, just my wife and I. What a great experience, informal, just like chatting with an old friend. A must see when you're in the area. Oh, and the samples were very good too 😉

Off the beaten path for non-locals, however, this is worth the trip! The property was very pretty and the tour was informative about our TN whiskey. :)

This was a fun tour.... there were only 3 people on the tour so you had a lot of 1 on 1. Very informative.

On the free tour yes...but not the tasting tour. I would call for times of the free tours before going.

Sorry but I do not remember Mike recommending a restaurant, He may have recommended one while I was inhaling the vapors of the fermentation process.

The tour is a combination of both inside and outside walking. The distillery is not climate controlled but you are allowed to carry bottled water on the tour. Some areas like the Visitors Center and Tasting House (21+ and... More
