Grundy County is one of the most beautiful places in America! It's like a step back in time when you enter the Forrest Natural area. The world is untouched by man, and it's a rare find.

The picturesque views of Nature here are awe inspiring. A great place to wander alone or with family and friends. Gain some sanity...some tranquility...some peace of mind. Sit, relax, breathe. Get back to Nature.

This is a beautiful place. Some awesome falls... not too big... but all the same great. A lot of the trail follows along the creek bed and there are a few really good swimming holes when the water is up during spring and early summer.

This was a very picturesque walk through the woods. The terrain was good for a work out, but could be taken as at a slow leisurely pace. The waterfalls, and water is beautiful. They obviously work really hard to maintain the trails. I would recommend...More

Yes! Make sure to call ahead and speak to one of the Rangers first tho. The overnight parking comes with the typical warnings!
