Tuckaleechee Caverns offered a nice getaway from the crazy, commercial mess of Pigeon Forge. Its a relaxing 40 minute drive from "the strip". My only complaint about the attraction is that the family that has run the cavern's concession and tours, for over 60 years,...More

Our group of 20 Smoky Mountain enthusiasts had an excellent underground adventure. Most of us have seen many Smoky Mountains waterfalls and we were thrilled to experience Tuckaleechee Cavern's underground waterfall. Lots to see on this well guided informative tour. A much larger cavern than...More

Have been through the area many times and never have taken the time to stop. This is definitely a hidden gem if you can walk up and down lots of stairs.

The caves were great but I thought more could have been made of the American Indian history and local stories. The tour guide could have been better and seemed to be going through the motions.

Excellent cave tour! Underground creek and waterfall, huge caverns. Lots of stairs and some uneven spots, so not for those with difficulty walking. We've been on multiple cave tours in several states and this was one of the top ones!

This place was awesome. The guide was very nice and let us take alot of pictures. I wish they had something like this closer to home. My family loved every bit of it. If we visit again we will be coming back!!

Caves were INCREDIBLE, wish the tour guide had more fun with it. If we weren't talking to him and asking questions...I'm pretty sure it would have been a silent tour.

This was such a hidden gem in Townsend. There are about 400 steps but they are not major steps so don't let that dissuade you from going into the caverns. The waterfall was pretty and the Great room was awesome. When they turned the lights...More

You drive right up to the entrance and gift shop. Once inside the cave, the walk is rather strenuous and make sure you wear proper shoes.
