We loved this cave! It is steep, but achievable for those simply out of shape or overweight. It is a guided tour, but there are benches in most of the places where the guide will stop the group and tell a little bit of history...More

I went to the Lost Sea with my son, my other son and his family. We had an awesome time. It was a nice day, weather was great. Price was reasonable, they offer senior and military discounts. While you wait or even afterwards you can...More

Great little adventure in any weather and stays cool inside! The boat ride is always my favorite part, but seeing the uses throughout history is amazing too. Very close personal visit with small groups guided in the cave while features are pointed out and explained....More

We paid about 22 a piece for entry, which was reasonable. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The tour was informative both about the cave formations and the history of the cave. At one point, they turn the lights out so you can experience total...More

The Lost Sea is a Tennessee treasure. The tour takes about an hour and a quarter. The path winds through the cave allowing viewing of most of the features. The guide was patient and answered our questions. The story about the young boy who discovered...More

We loved our visit here. We'd been to Ruby Falls a few days before and the difference in guide was marked. Where the guide in Chattanooga was young, inexperienced and quite obviously following a script (and incapable of answering any direct questions), the guide here...More

sorry for the late response. No fishing in Sweetwater. However, fishing in the Broad River in Knoxville or, further afield in Pidgeon Forge/Gatlinburg. You'll need a fishing licence more than likely if you're going to fish... More

It really depends on when you are coming and if there will be a wait to get in. Sometimes in the summer and on busy weekends it could take up to an hour or so to get in. The tour takes about an hour and twenty minutes. If... More
