The trips underground are guided and you must wait for a scheduled time. The restaurant and some other areas were closed. The guide was very informative and the cave was an adventure. It's a long walk back UP out of the cave but they have three rest stops along the route.

We have been to the Forbidden Caverns and the Tuckaleechee Caverns so we were interested in seeing the Lost Sea Caverns to see how they compare. Lost Sea is quite different from the other two caves due to its size and lack of impressive formations but what it lacks in formations is made up by the size and the underground... More

We thought it was going to be more than it was, really it was disappointing, the boat when you get to the lost sea is like 10 minutes, and most of it is going fast down WAY to slippery areas, and also there was a 4 year old child that was swinging on the rails, and the tour guide said... More

Great adventure! This is a must see if you like history and caverns. Amazing to learn about how the cavern was found and all that took place before it was turned into a public tour. Would go again!!

My husband and I visited the Lost Sea Adventure and we were given very little information before we went in. They did not tell us that there was a very long, steep walk. People with heart conditions, walking issues, or the elderly may have difficulty on this journey. There are no elevators or emergency exits incase someone could not continue.... More

The cave is huge! Not a lot of formations but still interesting. While the glass bottom was hard to see through, it was still cool to see the rainbow trout and say I've been on an underground boat ride.

Visited this historic site while on vacation in Pigeon Forge. About a 75 minute drive away in Sweetwater. Tour guide was very informative and funny, learned tons of history and geological facts, complete with a serene boat ride at the bottom of the cave. This is the largest underground fresh water Lake in North America. Very cool. Afterwards, enjoy a... More

We truly enjoyed this little adventure. There are so many neat sites down below and the guides are very funny! Lots of cute, dry humor. It's an amazing site! You won't be disappointed!

My little brother (9), my dad (45) and I (23) went for my birthday because even though I only live about an hour and a half away, I had never been. It was a super cool experience. I will say that I was prepared with a nice sweat shirt and sweat pants and I did get very warm with all... More

The underground lake was pretty neat to see and we enjoyed the short boat ride. However, we went there expecting a glass bottom boat and something a little more then what it was. It is very dark and dim, you can't see where u are walking. We had to use the lights on our phones and even then could barely... More
