Fun, but be prepared to be underground awhile

This was a fun, unique thing to do, and the staff does it very well. The caverns are amazing to see, and the lake is really cool. However, be prepared to be underground or about... read more

Took the cave tour with Savannah (sorry if I misspelled your name). What a pretty cave system and a beautiful pale blue lake/sea. Savannah gave us a great tour with lots of interesting, fun facts. The boat ride was the highlight of an interesting tour. I would definitely recommend this 'Adventure' if you are anywhere close to this area, worth... More

We are a family of 5. The group tour was about 20 people. 45 degrees outside...inside perfect temp! I think 68 degrees. We have 3 teenage boys 17,14 and 13 who loved this adventure! I wouldn't recommend young young kids (you do not want to hold your child lol)...it's almost a 1 mile walk in total. At times uneven walking... More

This was a fun, unique thing to do, and the staff does it very well. The caverns are amazing to see, and the lake is really cool. However, be prepared to be underground or about two hours and do some walking on semi-steep inclines. Be hydrated and take breaks if you need to because the oxygen level is different down... More

We took our 4 kids and were pleasantly surprised by this trip. All 4 kids really enjoyed the experience, though it did make my 6 year old a little nervous to be in the dark. Our tour guide (I think her name was Kristen) was knowledgeable and easy to understand. It was pretty interesting to see the Civil War soldier... More

It was actually my fourth trip to the Lost Sea over the years. All the grandchildren have experienced it now. We had an 11 year old, 2 six year olds and 2 four year olds with us. They were delighted with the experience and learning about the different cave formations, The absolute darkness experience was fascinating for them. Our guide... More

Husband is handicapped and I have weak knees so we couldn't take advantage of this adventure. Very disappointed. When I inquired about any handicapped ways of getting to 3/4 mile downhill walk to the boat, he states that no other way down except walking but coming back up is worst! The price is a steep ride too. $19.95 each adult... More

We enjoyed this huge cave; plenty to walk around in the dimly lit areas (watch your feet), good explanation by the young male guide without being too talkative (sometimes it's nice to simply absorb the atmosphere). The highlight were the small waterfalls areas (a dream experience if you can manage to stay behind without screaming) and the deep 'lake' (which... More

If you like visiting caves then you should definitely give this one a try. I grew up hearing about this cave but didn't go until just recently. My husband and I like doing cave tours and this wasn't too far from where we live. There is a lake at the back of the cave and you take a short boat... More

Enjoyable day in December at The Lost Sea. I wasn't sure what to expect but thought it was very interesting. The price of admission was reasonable, I just wish the store and restaurant had been open. I guess since it wasn't very busy it didn't warrant the expense to have everything open. The employee behind the counter said the recent... More

The trips underground are guided and you must wait for a scheduled time. The restaurant and some other areas were closed. The guide was very informative and the cave was an adventure. It's a long walk back UP out of the cave but they have three rest stops along the route.
