We were in Nashville for a concert and decided to drive just about an hour east to visit the falls the next day. Took the 1.5 mile round trip hike down to the last of the falls which is about a 130 foot waterfall. Breathtaking!...More

Burgess Falls State Park is a nice park with good hiking trails along the river. We saw three set of falls, very nice. There were two outlooks along the trails where we could take many photos. Everything was nice and clean.

We came with two 13 year old girls & there was plenty to keep them busy & explore! The paths are well kept & many areas have railings for those who may need extra support. The hike down to the top of the big falls...More

Put your hiking shoes on and be prepared to be amazed. Reviews were excellent. We were not disappointed. You will not be either.

My family was traveling with children ages 1, 2, 4, and 7 and this waterfall was perfect for us. The hike from the parking lot was mostly shaded and not too long. My sister carried her 1 yr old in a carrier on her back...More

Burgess falls is beautiful. Not a strenuous hike. Although the stairs are out and you can’t go to the bottom of the falls but still worth going to. Several spots to take pictures along the hike.

These falls are absolutely beautiful! Nice well kept trails. There are multiple falls to see during this fairly easy mile and a half hike. Only complaint was the very nice restrooms were not open yet. We would visit again.

Well worth the effort. These falls are gorgeous. They aren’t kidding that the strenuous hike to the larger falls is, in fact, a challenging one. Standing on the edge of the falls is well worth the effort, and there are easier paths for less experienced...More

A beautiful moderate hike around the rim and base of the falls. A great outdoor adventure for the whole family.

Walking the trail to see the falls is fairly easy. Sometimes muddy. There are wood viewing areas for the large fall and the smaller ones. A quick trip from Nashville and worth the drive.

It is a nice hike, I would also say a 2 on how strenous it is. There is one point when you are hiking to the high falls where there is a pretty good climb, but there are steps and a bench when you reach the top. Beautiful... More

I've read other post where it is always said that you will be able to go to the base by "next year" but this is the 3rd year with no results.
