Hiked the trail with my two teenage sons. It rained about 70% of our hike which made some of it very slippery and muddy but we were cautious. Took us about 6 hours although we had a picnic lunch at the falls and I stopped...More

I read all of the reviews on ever site available before doing this hike. My take on it is that it wasn’t as hard as I expected it to be coming up out of there. I wish I had known because I kind of dreaded...More

If you are reading this review with a Twinkie in your hand this hike is not for you. We hiked to the main falls in about 3 hours with a 50 lb pack. The hike is full of ups and downs with large rocky steps....More

The trail includes several waterfalls , with the last, Virgin Falls being amazing, The water comes out of a cave falls, and then disappears back into the ground. Standing at the base, enjoying the cool breeze, was wonderful on a warm day. The hike is...More

There are 4 excellent fails on this difficult, 8 mile hike. The bad part about this hike is you start out by going down, so you have to come up to get back to the car. That being said, if you hit these fails after...More

This is a very beautiful place in Winter and especially Spring when all is in bloom around it to essentially highlight the falls. It is a good hike in and back out to the parking area so be sure to take along a first aid...More

Visited during a hot day, and the cool woods were refreshing! There is a gravel parking place and a brief walk through the woods to the base of the falls. The foliage along the path was about to take over! The falls was great, but...More
