Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We visited during the fires and there was some haze. We enjoyed the beach, looked like a nice place to stay. The city is small but has interesting shops and restaurants .

Took the 4 year old granddaughter for a play on the beach at 3pm. There were no flags or patrol at this time of year (July) but the beach was pristine and warm and she had a great time. Over to the right there are some rocks to climb and even 2 small beach caves.
Good facilities eg toilet facilities but take note dogs are allowed on the beach between April and December.

This was our third visit to Pambula Beach in the past 12 months. An easy 3-hour drive from Canberra through some beautiful country, including the emerald Bega Valley, Pambula Beach is a stunning, yellow-sand crescent that opens onto the Pacific Ocean. At the Pambula end, there are really interesting rock formations striped with huge bands of quartz, rock pools teeming with crabs and a surf life-saving club. The beach is spectacular and offers great waves for boogie boarding. It's not far from the Broken Oar Grill and general store and there are public facilities nearby. A walk up over the headland takes you to the mouth of the Pambula River, which has a small park and playground facilities near the boat ramp.

Like so many of the beaches in southern NSW it is wide, sandy and picturesque. Beautiful cliffs at the sothern end with a patch of pink rock that is unusual and safe swimming right in front of the life saving club.

We hadn't stayed here for years but after re-discovering it we will be back each year. The park if right at the beach, just take one of the cuts through the sand dunes and you are there. The wildlife is what also makes the park so much fun. You are entertained by the very friendly kangaroos who make them selves at home around the park. The Rosella's are very friendly and there are lots of them chattering and fluttering around the park and coming to say hello. The sound of the Bell birds is a beautiful background noise. The safe are friendly and helpful and this is all you need to have a great holiday.

Clean beautiful beach with rock pools to explore.
Patrolled by lifeguards.
Playground close by but be wary of kangaroo & dog poo everywhere on the grass.

With the van park right behind the small dune, this beach is perfect for a family who want to do some fun things in the surf. It's pristine clean, no rips, holes or channels, and the sand is squeaky clean and almost powdery. there even a small headland to provide a bit of shelter or a place for the kids to explore. And, there's fish for the catching.

A beautiful spot for fishing and children swimming. Like your own little tropical island. Well worth the visit. Only a short drive from Merimbula

Tucked away behind the Pambula Beach sand dunes is a fabulous caravan park. Large and spacious the friendly kangaroos and ducks that have made their home here don't tend to mind our invasion. Tbe staff are friendly and helpful, the park rustic and in inviting. A heated undercover pool is a great alternative to the cool ocean however there is an outdoor pool and kids waterpark. A long stroll along the beach north to Merimbula or a short walk south to the mouth of the Pambula river which has the colours of the Whitsundays. Just stunning, we loved it, so much to see and do around the area.

It was Saturday morning when we visited Pambula Beach and the place was a hive of activity. The surf patrol was out in force and the Nippers were enjoying their activities. It is great to see the next generation of life savers being nurtured along the way.
The sand was really clean and nice and soft and the beach is really pretty. The water looked nice and clear. The headland protects the beach from the southerly winds.
There is a large car park, a nice park near the surf club house and an amenity block..

Hi, yes I think it would be. I would maybe suggest contacting the Pambula Surf Life Saving Club for clarification.
