We stayed in a cabin in the C building. It was great. It had everything we needed. The view overlooked the pool and the firepit. The check in was after hours, so I had to call a onsite ranger to get me the keys. He was very friendly and helpful. The cabins are not new, but very well kept. The... More

This is a beautiful area of Tennessee and easily accessed due to its close proximity to Interstate 40. We stayed in a 2BR cabin, which was great for the price. It's not luxury, but way better than expected for a state park. The lake is beautiful and we enjoyed hiking on the trails. We even saw a bald eagle, which... More

I really want to give this place 5 stars. The RV campsites are super cool, most of them are on heavy duty decks that hang out almost over the water. Maintenance seems to be up to date, everything in good shape and tidy. BUT, for having such nice campsites and the price of the sites they should include sewer; but... More

Fantastic park, grounds are beautiful! Super weekend to go and definitely hope to go back. Super trails, beautiful water, great playgrounds for younger kids. Everything you need while camping!

This park has a nice campground, if you pick a lake view lot, your water faucet is located up high on the back of your deck. The black handle makes it hard to notice. We almost went to buy another hose to have enough extension to run it under the camper when one of the camp host came by to... More

Camping in the south has a lot of asphalt. I like camping. They call it primitive here, but I call it woosy. This place isn't primitive. If you're from the south, you'll love it. You're never more than a half hour level road sashay from someone who'll cook your food and cut the crust off your sandwiches. Not my fun,... More

We stayed in the cabin E6 for an extended weekend. It was amazing. The cabin was super clean, they had all the dishes you need to cook. Spacious refrigerator. Beds were nice, the couch bed however had lost some springs so it wasn't very comfortable but the teenage boy slept there. ;) The pool was one of the best pools... More

Easy drive from Nashville, TN into a lush, quiet park with excellent cabins, camping areas, marinas and good eats. Has a well kept pool, swings around a fire pit and plenty of grills by each cabin. A great place for a family reunion... just remember to plan months in advance (about a yr) to make sure everyone gets a cabin.... More

It's a long way from the Interstate and from the campground entrance to the tent sites but once there it's awesome. The tent sites are on raised wooden platforms overlooking the lake. There is lots of space and the area is nicely wooded. It's very quiet.

We stayed in a handicap "cabin" over the weekend of May 20-23. The buildings are really more like townhouses then individual cabins. We stayed in Cabin C-6. Our cabin was awesome with two bedrooms, bathroom with shower stall, kitchen, nice size great room with vaulted ceiling with a deck off of it. There is also a door off the one... More
