Very nice scenery. The long winding road getting to the reservoir and our campground was a little treacherous driving with our big rig but presented beautiful vistas. We stayed at the Long Branch campground which was well maintained with nice views of the river.

Stayed in a park cabin and it was nicer than I could have imagined and at that price, it was amazing.

Has a nice walking trail that we walk every time we go out there. Plenty of deer and there is fishing, one of John's favorite. Plenty of kayacing there and picturing taking.

We have a small Shasta so I’m not really sure how that size will do, if you come in over the damn it’s a tight fit but there is another way in. The campground is very hilly so I would see if you could call maybe the office... More

There are plenty of paved roads to ride bikes on, as long as you follow the rules of safety- traffic goes through there frequently, but are required to go only 30mph. There is a seasonal restaurant at the marina.
