this beach is versatile. it was definitely had more of a lively vibe than some other beaches. this beach attracts surfers, and families alike. one side of the beach had big waves that attracted all the surfers and boogie boarders. the other side was tamer, which is where i hung out to swim and lay out in the sun. the... We visited on a Friday, midday, and were able to park in the shade, find a spot on the beach in the shade, and found it to be lovely. Not too crowded, and a nice drive from St Anne . We would recommend this beach. Plus food trucks for drinks and lunch.

We stayed in Basse Terre but ventured over to the other side once based on the recommendation of our hosts. Beautiful white sand beach. Just drive past the initial entrance to get a quite secluded spot with a picnic area if you want one. Good snorkeling just about 10M off shore. Great views of the mountains of Basse Terre in... This Beach is on the North-western Tip of Grande-Terre. This was our best choice on our trip, and the beach is not so windy compared to other beaches.

Enjoyed a few hours at the beach on our way from Grand Terre to Basse Terre. The beach is simply gorgeous. this is probably not a good beach for families with young children since the surf is high and there is a significant undertow. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful time at this beach. There were quite a few people taking... More

This beech is one of the best in Guadeloupe. It is an area for family for sports water activities. White Sand, Clear Water must see!

This beach was beautiful with clear pool water, lots of shady areas and space to hang out. It was busy but you didn't feel crowded. There were grills we saw people using but also a great bokit truck if you need a snack.

The beach became a staple of our week-long stay in Port Louis. It gets crowded during the day with many families, but we were always able to find room in the shade! People tend to come after noon, so the beach was always completely open for a morning swim. We spent many afternoons drinking wine and saw many beautiful sunsets!... More

This beach is on the north end of Port-Louis on the northwest coast of Grande-Terre. The main beach is beautiful with lots of room and gorgeous shallow waters. What many don't know is that there's a driving trail that extends north of the main parking lot that goes along the coast for 1.5 kilometers with semi-secluded beach areas all along... More
