My boyfriend and I decided to do a guided tour in these caverns while we were vactioning in Pigeon Forge. We drove quite some ways to get there, but most of the drive was scenic and interesting so we didn't mind that at all! When we got there, we had to wait a bit on a tour so we visited... More

We loved the caverns and our guide was very informative! Kids loved it and learned a lot. So glad we went- it's a must do if you are visiting the Gatlinburg area.

I have been on other cave tour which are better but this was a really good cave, Tour Guide's banter is very weak which took some of the pop out of the tour. Be in shape, you are going to walk....lol

First of all, I read some of the poor reviews and I have to disagree. First of all, photography IS allowed in the Caverns. They just ask that you don't stop to take pictures while the group is walking from one stop to another. Second of all, it's only $16 per ticket. Which is a good deal for a tour... More

This was a nice little introduction to caverns. Not too strenuous or too cold. Only 1 bat sighting and good tour information.

Had a great time touring the caverns. Our guide, Hunter, was extremely knowledgeable about the caverns and everything you see during your tour. Give yourself about an hour for the tour. Last tour is at 5pm. You'll travel down, down, down and see an underground river, what's left of an old moonshine still, stalactites and stalagmites and might even get... More

If you are travelling to TN and are looking for a little something cool to do, check out these little caverns. The tour was inexpensive, approximately 40 minutes and our guide was humorous and informative. It's always a comfortable 58 degrees underground and the history of Indians and moonshiners add to the charm of all that is Tennessee! Enjoyable little... More

We didn't have to wait long to go on a tour. The wait was probably less than 10 minutes. They take you in groups of about 20 or less. Our tour guide was great! We didn't have any problems hearing her while she told us interesting stories about the caverns. It was cool to the natural formations and the shaped... More

I have been going to the Forbidden Caverns since I was a kid. I love it! The guide was knowledgeable and made sure to show us some of the wildlife inhabiting the caverns. There are a couple steep places in the cavern and several wet areas, its a cavern its to be expected. Bringing a light jacket is a good... More

My wife,I and some friends of ours were looking for something to do on a Saturday. We were pleased to find Forbidden Caverns available. It was a great tour, well worth the fee. Not only did we get to see the clear river and lovely formations, but we also got to see various wildlife. We saw bats, cave crickets, a... More
