The river, the hikes, the trees are simply amazing. I'm from Vancouver, one of the most beautiful places in the world but there is a certain wild charm to Rock Island. Highly recommend visiting.

Visited the state park to see the waterfalls. Had an amazing time walking/scrambling along the trails to see each of the falls and the old cotton mill. So much to see and do. Well worth a visit.

Gorgeous waterfalls. Check out Twin falls on Powerhouse Rd. Definitely worth going. Swimming area was nice and clean.

Incredible waterfalls. Take the time to drive around to Powerhouse Road as the bridge over the dam is closed. You get a much closer look at Twin Falls. Looks like something you would see in Africa. I had no idea there are falls like this...More

This was beautiful place and it's free to get in they have beautiful cabins you can rent and camping and a beach everything you need I would highly recommend this state park

7 of us rented cabin #7 for 5 nights. A truly remarkable experience, walking trails, enjoying the parks forest like setting with its beautiful waterfalls, trees and birds.

Opening the spillway is a seasonal thing and probably non forecastable. Perhaps the park office can better advise. I would think the picnic / swimming area would not be affected. Do bring your own lawn chairs; no seating... More
