- bluebird78133Canyon Lake, Texas18 contributionsGreat indoor activity for any age.Science made fun! We took a preteen and a toddler and had a ball. It was a cold rainy day over the Thanksgiving holiday. We got there early, stayed about 3 hours and got to do everything the kids wanted to do. There were even activities that the parents could have fun doing. Highly recommend, but know it’s not an amusement park, it’s a hands on science learning experience.Visited November 2023Travelled with familyWritten 25 November 2023
- Keke LNew York City, New York2,221 contributionsUpside Down HouseThis was my first time visiting. Someone at a boot store I was shopping at suggested I check this out. Hearing upside down house had me scratching head, seeing it from the road made me laugh. I went inside to look around. In the main lobby is the entrance to house. Be sure to look up, the furniture is upside down keeping with the theme. The rest is a game room. In my personal opinion this is beat enjoyed with a friend.Visited October 2023Travelled soloWritten 31 December 2023
- Kevin PCanton, Ohio87 contributionsOnly worth one visit.Went down on a rainy day with my wife and 4 year old. Its pricey for what you get. Around $30 ish per person. If you sign up for their free rewards program, you can go for free within 7 days of your birthday. There's over 100 things inside to do at your leisure. Great for small kids with tons of hands on activities. It was great to do once but NEVER again. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great enough to ever go again at that price. For three people you are almost at $100.Visited March 2024Travelled with familyWritten 31 March 2024
- Katie HNiles, Michigan25 contributionsFun and interactiveLots of interactive activities including rock wall climbing, high ropes course, bed of nails, hurricane simulator, astronaut training, wonder coaster, 4D theatre, laser tag and more. Many of them have height/weight restrictions though. My 9 year old could participate in all but 1 of the experiences. 6 year old unable to participate in all but 2 experiences - and had several experiences that required an adult to go with him. Probably would not recommend for under age 5, as they would not be able to get their moneys worth. The biggest factor will be the crowds - how long you spend here will be directly impacted by the length of the lines. The price is reasonable as you can stay all day or come and go, but if it is packed you will need the whole day to complete everything.Visited April 2024Travelled with familyWritten 6 April 2024
- Kim D20 contributionsKids enjoyed itWe went at the beginning of our spring break trip - it was busy! Some of the attractions had a long line (mainly the indoor rides) and some were not working or were not worth it. Personally, I was disappointed that we didn't get to see anything upside down, except for the outside of the building. Overall though, my kids enjoyed it, so it was worth itVisited March 2024Travelled with familyWritten 10 April 2024
- Sam&sandeGeorgia83 contributionsFunWe absolutely loved it! So many neat exhibits. We went on Rope course and rock wall for our first time. Everyone was so nice working! Winter helped us at rope course and then we saw her again at rock wall. She was so fun, helpful and encouraged us and our kids . It's a great place to visit with so many different things to do for all ages. Just make sure you come prepared with tennis shoes..We will definitely visit again. ThanksVisited June 2024Travelled with familyWritten 16 June 2024
- SABIndiana3 contributionsOur fun adventure at Wonder WorksWe had so much fun at Wonder Works. The tunnel at the beginning was unexpected and interesting. the quake ride was a bit lacking. We went on the ropes course for the first time and it was a blast! One of our kids got scared and stuck on a single rope obstacle on the top level. A worker named Winter helped her get across to the platform. Winter was so kind and helpful. the xdtheatre, coasters,& museum were cool. Everyone seemed to love working there. We will be coming back..Visited June 2024Travelled with familyWritten 6 July 2024
- AanensonDLWCrookston, Minnesota8 contributionsCool placeThis is a cool place. Very interesting inside. You can experience things like an earthquake or a hurricane. My daughter really loved the bubble area. Great for a family. Be aware it is a little expensive. Unfortunately, some of the things were not working. The outside is awesome and the inside lobby is cool too. Be sure to look up. My daughter has sensory issues and she did pretty well with it, but be aware if you have children with sensory issues they might not enjoy this.Visited July 2024Travelled with familyWritten 3 August 2024
- melly17Corydon, Indiana57 contributionsA wonderful time!We had a great time! Our daughter loved all the rides and exhibits. Her favorite was the ropes course and laser tag! She also loved the rock wall & virtual roller coaster. This place is excellent for an adventurous kid! We only saw a few things that were “out of order” but most everything was working. We spent around 4 hours there and felt like it was worth the money. The staff were super friendly and there to help when needed. It’s definitely a fun thing to do with your kids!Visited August 2024Travelled with familyWritten 17 August 2024
- Brady MWise, Virginia12 contributionsFun Experience, Little PriceyThe visual appeal of a huge upside down building from the outside catches the eye, when you walk inside the lobby is upside down, but after you enter past the ticket stand, everything else is normal. This place is an interactive museum basically. Mind bending art and exhibits, some rides but kids 5 and under can’t really do much as far as the rides go. Our 8 year old did everything and had fun, just a little expensive at $40 per person for a 2hour museum experience. Great place to take kids 5-15 years old, older kids may not like it as much and younger kids will have fun but they won’t be able to do any rides.Visited September 2024Travelled with familyWritten 10 September 2024

We arrived about 10:50 when it wasn't very busy yet, and the inside line wasn't long. Unfortunately there was only one person working the ticket desk so we stood in line around 15 minutes. Many of the smaller activities are the same as what you'd see in a good children's museum. The big activities usually had a line including the space rope course. My granddaughter and I stood in that line around 30 minutes. I noticed that the 2 "ride" activities only had one side of the ride running which meant only 2 people at a time instead of 4. The lazar tag activity was closed. My 6 and 9 year old grandchildren were done and finished in 90 minutes. Not sure if it was worth the price.

Hello, thanks for the review! Unfortunately, right now, we have to have certain exhibits shut down or altered to accommodate the social distancing guidelines. We do appreciate your feedback and patience during these unprecedented times. We hope you all will come back and see us again sometime!

We had kids of all ages with us 3yr-16ys plus several adults…. EVERYONE had fun! With our to tickets we could come and go as we pleased so that was a huge plus! Spend part of the morning and come back in the evening!
Everything was clean and being wiped down on a regular basis by masked employees. Very few guests had masks on, but everyone was respecting boundaries! Every manned seated ride was wiped clean after every guest.
Our ONLY complaint as the grandparents of this bunch was that we would have appreciated benches to sit and watch the kids play— it’s a LOT of standing! The only seating we found was upstairs at the little dining area.
We went on a Saturday morning and while guests increased incrementally as the morning progressed, it was never what we considered “crowded”…. We don’t know if they were controlling numbers at the door or not because we were there soon after opening and walked right in!
It was worth the tickets for us… some teenagers might get bored, but our group had fun! As adults, we also learned lots by reading the signs about how the different games worked and seeing the different displays.

We went with our children and my elderly in-laws. As others have stated dispute the best efforts of the staff once inside social distancing is difficult with children. The staff is constantly cleaning so that was nice to see. My 12 year old really enjoyed the activities and my seven year old who was the most excited about going...was afraid of everything when we went through the first time. My in-laws left about 2/3rds through because there were not places to sit and how crowded it was. We grabbed some lunch for the kids and my daughter told us she wasn’t afraid anymore and wanted to go back through. The crowds had died down and the second time through was a much better experience and what pushed my rating to five stars for my family.

This was a lot of fun with our 13 & 14 year old. We needed more time but we had plans to see the Magician there who we also highly recommend. We’ve seen him twice. After the Magic show we had dinner and another Christmas show so we weren’t able to go back and look at their hall of art. We enjoyed the ropes courses and all the other interactive activities. I held the record in my family for longest time with my hand in the cold water.

It was about $125 military discount for two kids 6 and 7 and two adults. About a dozen machines were broken. I was surprised at how many things you had to pay for. For example there was a Marvel exhibit. For $10 you get a picture. Then there were ducks you could also try your hand at for $1 a try. They let way to many people in for the small area. There was one spot you can push your hand into and make imprints, but you have to go around the other side to see. The 6 year old went to run around and an older kid hit the reset button and cleared it all away. There was an area where you can draw and color and you were supposed to put it into a wall that was a screen and it had cars, balloons, trucks etc. there were five tablets on the wall and only two were working. You could also color, but the kids were taking the seats for the table to stand on to play in the sand box. Also, the machine that you are supposed to place your coloring sheet under to get it to project in the scene was also broke. They had a dinosaur cut out where you could place your face in but they had it right in front of the craft area so you got all these people behind the cut out. Would be better if they had it against a wall so you could have a neat picture. The lite beige area did not have enough pegs to design any of the patterns on the exhibit. There was a neat machine that put your finger on and it prints out a card like you had been arrested. The 6 year old ate to many sweets which was sooooo true! But the 7 year old said to much texting, we may be the only family that the 7 year old doesn’t have a cell phone. It was hard to get her to understand why her sisters card for so accurate and hers was wrong. The wind tunnel were you have to ware plastic glasses to protect your eyes were not sanitized between people. They only had five glasses. Overall very expensive for a few hours or disappointment,

this is mostly kid friendly, If you are looking for a germy, sticky, screaming kids type Saturday night, go here. The downstairs is waiting in line for hours to do anything, the upstairs is more quiet but still pretty boring, more so an art show.
it's chaotic, they really need to schedule things better.
we spent 160 dollars on 4 tickets and were in and out in 15 minutes, super un-impressed and wished we wouldn't have wasted our money :( live and learn.

This is very much for kids and families. We were four adults visiting and were extremely bored and didn't find it worth the money we spent. However, it seemed that the kids there were having a great time. It is very imaginative and has many exhibits, but it doesn't have enough activities to compensate for the high price ($33 for adults).

We visited Jan 3 and looked forward to visiting this place for the first time. My husband had a question about the magic show so he decided to call. The receptionist named Kim was incredibly rude. When he greeted her and said he had a question, her response was, “okay, Im waiting!” It caught my husband off guards We almost decided to go somewhere else for entertainment. Thankfully, when we got there the workers in the exhibits were really friendly. We went with a group of friends and had a fun time! The kids were so entertained. I highly recommend doing the 4d theater. Very cool!! The exhibits had long waits but if you are there after 730pm the lines start to dwindle. We got to go back and do some exhibits we missed out on. This is definitely a must go. Thank goodness we didnt let the receptionist change our mind. Such a good time! Another bonus is after 6pm is discounted rates.

The kids had an especially good time here. There's a lot to do, and almost everything is hands on. They all wanted to walk into the upside down building, of course, but once inside there are a lot of things that they can touch and play with. High ropes adventure, a pedal thingy that can spin them upside down, and all sorts of science-related experiment stuff. It's fun. A little bit on the pricier side, but I think worth it.

Wonderworks is a great family-fun. It is good for kids especially. We are a little older 30-60s, but if we had kids they would have had a blast. (We had a great time anyways). The place was kept remarkably clean and there were plenty of stations for hand sanitizer. The staff also wore masks and cleaned the stuff that was most-touched.

How much money was it to build the whole building ?

Some areas might be a little tight with a wheel chair. They do have an elevator to the second floor so you don’t have to worry about all the stairs. I hope this helps.
