- Jeannine R2 contributionsGreat show! Moonshine murderer was tons of fun!I highly recommend this dinner/show. The show was really cute and we laughed a lot! Acting was great! They definitely rolled with the punches when getting the audience participation, which made it even more fun. Dinner was good too, loved the flourless chocolate torte.Visited March 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 23 March 2024
- Trisa C77 contributionsVery fun and entertaining nightMy husband, 15 year old daughter and I went here for my birthday dinner. We saw the 80's prom. This was very entertaining and we had a lot of fun. My daughter especially couldn't stop talking about the murder clues even days later. She was mad she didn't guess it correctly. The cast was very friendly and they even took pictures with the guests after the show. I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about the food but it actually was pretty tasty and the dessert was a large portion and very yummy. I would definitely go back to see another dinner show if we are ever back in town.Visited March 2024Travelled with familyWritten 9 April 2024
- Kim D20 contributionsFun timeThis show was fun! We were originally scheduled for Marriage Can Be Murder, but they emailed me a few weeks before and said it was changed to Moonshine Murder. The actors were good, and the crowd participation was superb! The food was average, but you are paying more for the show than the meal. The waitresses did a great job of keeping our drinks filled and stuff. Overall, I would recommend this dinner showVisited April 2024Travelled with familyWritten 10 April 2024
- Road080871088531 contributionGreat Smokey Mointains Murder Mystery Dinner ShowExcellent food and it was hilarious! We watched Killer Prom. The actors interacted with the audience. The four main characters were Jessie, Melissa, Matt, and Jake. This show is a lot better than Lumberjack Feud and the other Dinner Shows in Pigeon Forge.Visited May 2024Travelled with familyWritten 26 May 2024
- Landi T3 contributionsLoved killer Prom!!!We saw Killer Prom and We have never done a dinner theater murder mystery. This was hysterical, growing up in the 80s, I got all the puns and sarcasm. The actors were amazing and did such a great job. They included the audience when possible and ad-libbed to add to the humor. I would recommend this group and this particular show. Our 20 yrs old daughter was also with us and She enjoyed it too. Food was wonderful and ALOT was given! Definitely worth the moneyVisited June 2024Travelled with familyWritten 8 June 2024
- Cathy SHudson, Michigan42 contributionsDon't miss out on this hidden gem, and be prepared to laugh! As a fan of live acting/ theater, it was great. We laughed, A LOT! The story is cheesy but that's part of the charm! Don't miss out on this hidden gem. As for the food.. Meh! It was basic dinner. - Teresa HAthens, Alabama68 contributionsFamily Fun ComedyMy husband, 17 year old daughter, and I visited the Great Smoky Mountain Murder Mystery Dinner Show last week and enjoyed the Moonshine Murders show. We bought tickets online. Once we arrived, we checked in with the hostess and immediately was seated. The employees were already in character and were a hoot! We were seated with two other couples at one table. Our server promptly introduced herself and took our drink orders. Upon arriving with our drinks, she asked for our appetizer selection (broccoli and cheese, Italian wedding, or loaded potato soups). I had the Italian wedding which was good and my husband and daughter had the loaded potato soup which they polished off as well. The lights flickered, signaling the start of the show. The actors were great and skits were very funny. After the first act, the lights came back up and we were served our main dishes. The food was good and filling. The second act began and was funnier than the first act. The lights came back up again and dessert was served and request made to figure out "who dunn it". The time flew by and we enjoyed everything. The location of this place is very good, too; right in the middle of everything - close to The Island and the convention center.Visited July 2024Travelled with familyWritten 19 July 2024

If you are looking for a good meal and some comedic entertainment- this is the place. The food was good. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. The actors were funny and improvised as needed with audience participation (several audience members were chosen to participate with props and scripts). What to expect:
Soup and beverages are served upon arrival (doors open about an hour before show starts). After Act 1, your entree is served. After Act 2, your dessert is served. And then Act 3 is performed and the murderer is revealed. Lots of fun! Definitely plan to come back next time we are visiting Pigeon Forge.

We went to this show instead of the larger, more advertised dinner theater attractions in Pigeon Forge and were satisfied with the value for our money. Of course, it was somewhat corny as meant to be, but the actors/actresses did a good job and seemed to enjoy their work. Although not an all-you-can-eat show, the amount of food provided was more than enough and was of decent quality.

I want to start by saying we go to this theater often..We visited the show tonight for the Marriage Can Be Murder show. I was extremely disappointed when we heard you had a mask policy only to discover once we got there over half the audience weren’t wearing them at all at any time in the building. The production made several announcements that masks had to be worn except when eating but there was nobody that enforced it at all. It is really wrong to make families out there think they are going to a place where precautions are being taken only to find out your business doesn’t enforce those policies once you’re already inside. This is terrible for families that have to take extra precautions for medical reasons. I understand many places aren’t enforcing precautions but it is irresponsible to mislead people.

A great show no one should miss. Pricing was excellent thru Groupon and food was great. Picture prices were reasonable. Alcohol was reasonable. Funny actors who do respond to diners reactions, and force a few people into the action.

We were told that the doors opened at 7:00, where seating would begin immediately. We arrived at 7:15 and were still standing outside at 7:50. Once we got inside, we were left to wait in a very small gift shop with all the other guests. It was very crowded and cramped. Parties were gradually called into the dining room/theater in a very chaotic manner.
My friend and I were placed at a table with two other parties, and the seating was quite cramped.
The meal consisted of a soup (choice of broccoli cheddar, chicken noodle, or loaded potato), entree (fried chicken breast, mashed potatoes, white gravy, green beans, corn, and biscuit), and cheesecake. The soup and fried chicken were pretty good, and the sweet tea and cheesecake were good, but everything else was straight from a can/box with no seasoning/flavor whatsoever. There wasn't even any butter or salt in anything.
We saw Killer Prom, and it was extremely corny. A high school drama class could have done better acting. The actual storyline had tons of holes in the plot, and there was very little room for audience interaction. I definitely wouldn't call this a "murder mystery dinner show." It was more like a very low-budget play with a mediocre dinner for a very high price ($60/ea.).

My husband and I had a great time at the Killer Prom show. It’s set in 1985 (when we went to prom) and the music, clothes, hair and references were spot on! The talented actors were so much fun and did a wonderful job of interacting with each other as well as the audience. The food was good, not great but we were all about the show. Our waitress did a fabulous job too. We would absolutely recommend this show to anyone who loves to laugh and have a great time!

I don't know why this place has such high reviews. The food was not good, and the story wasn't much better. I will say it'd probably be entertaining for smaller kids as it was sort of funny and family friendly. The acting was fine, the person who played Madge (Marriage can be Murder) is very talented.

We had a great time for the “Killer Prom” show (I promise to not give away the surprise!)
Food quality was generous and flavorful.
The performers were amazing! It is made with audience participation (they selected my wife for a bit too!) as well as great work by the performers. They did a great job improvising off audience activity/response as well.
Would recommend!

Let me start out by saying that the actors were great. The story line is cheesy but my family did get some laughs in. I feel like the actors are wasting their time working at this place and should probably apply at Dollywood. I honestly feel robbed of almost 200$ spent on this show. The absolute worst part was the food! You are not fooling anyone with your condensed soup, Popeyes chicken and biscuits and Sara Lee cheesecake that was room temperature. My family was on vacation so we look forward to eating some good food while away from home but that just made me mad! Should charge $20 less a ticket and do a show only. Just don’t even offer the dinner part if you’re just going to give out Popeyes anyway. I would NOT waste my money or go back to this show.
