About
Pirates Voyage invites you to join the most famous pirate, Blackbeard, and his quarter master Calico Jack as they lead the Crimson and Sapphire crews in a battle on land, on deck, in water and high above full-sized pirate ships in a 15-foot-deep indoor hideaway lagoon! Pandemonium breaks out in an unbelievable battle with sword fighting, cannons blazing, pirates scaling masts, and swinging ship to ship, fighting to win the coveted Davey Jones sunken treasure. Feel the heat off a lagoon of fire, shiver as skeletons appear from the deep and sky above during a fierce storm. Even Salty the sea lion joins the action and beautiful mermaids gracefully perform before diving back into the sea. Adventure abounds while a delicious four-course pirate feast is served. Me hearties feast is sure to please even the pickiest of pirates and is followed by our specialty dessert along with unlimited Coca-Cola, tea, or coffee.

- Joe S40 contributionsBest dinner showBest dinner show in the Smokies! Very entertaining and the food was pretty good to boot. The earlier and later shows are cheaper than the dinner time show. We were right in the upper row in the middle so the view of the show was great. A must do!Ahoy Joe! We're glad ye had a good time matey! - daisymbAlpharetta, Georgia75 contributionsExcellent!I can't say enough praise for this show. This show was so great! I went with my three children ages, 7, 11 13. I was nervous it would be too silly pirate themed for the older ones, but all four of us absolutely loved it. From top to bottom, it was great. The acrobatics, diving, and all the gymnast moves were incredible. I have a gymnast daughter, and she was so excited to see a bit of all these things. The set was incredible. They even have sea lions and dogs in the act. I HIGHLY recommend this show. It is family friendly, but adults will love it too. There isn't a bad seat, so no worries there either. Food is typical, chicken and corn, very good though. They even had a vegetarian option for my daughter. There was plenty of parking, so no worries there. Don't bother getting there too early because they just have you standing around waiting until the doors open. Once the doors open, every one goes to their rows in mass. You are assigned a row, not a seat, so keep that in mind if you're in large parties and want to sit together. I would definitely recommend this show.Hi Daisy! Thanks for the excellent review! - Edward LClarksville, Tennessee216 contributionsAn Unexpectedly Fun Show and DinnerI have been to Stampede several times and used to work there, so I was prepared not to like this as much. It was SO much better! The menu was the same, and I did eat everything on my plate. The show, however, was nonstop fun and surprises at every turn. I was amazed by the talent of the acrobatics, the diving, and the gymnastics. The "competition" part was fun, but the show was even more fun. A good time was had by all, indeed.Ahoy Edward! - Michael F115 contributionsFun but to expensiveThis was awesome! The foos was delicious and it was fun entertainment! The staff was very friendly. The prices are to high though. The seats were not full. If they lowered their prices a bit it would be sold out all the time. It was $187 for just two of us for a normal seat. The actors have lots of talent and they put on a great show. The food was not bad either. If you don’t leave full it’s your own fault! - JamesSimpsonville, South Carolina43 contributionsA very entertaining show with an extremely talented cast. This show was a lot more than I expected. A lot more talent, a lot more energy, and a lot more elaborate set. The staff were amazing! A third party ticket sales company made promises when we bought our tickets. While the management was not able to keep all of the promises that were made due to logistical issues, they came as close as they were able, and were very polite and professional. Thanks for a great evening out!Hi there! We apologize for the confusion with the 3rd party seller but are happy to hear that our management crew took care of you to the best of their ability. - Rhett L1 contributionDecent food, great Show!We had an overall great experience. Took my daughter to this tonight and we enjoyed it. I don’t drink but overheard someone say that the mixed drinks were $20+ each which is a little steep. The gift shop was stocked well and had several nice items, but it was expensive. The only real complaint I had about something that isn’t directly pertaining to me, was the fact that tickets were $60 EACH and the food wasn’t really worth $120 (for my daughter and I). A piece of chicken, a slice of ham, half a potato, corn on the cob and soup. Soup was delicious and the rest tasted good, but I’ve paid less for steaks. I know you are paying for the show too but I still would rather not pay $60 a plate for Cracker Barrel dinner. But the show was absolutely excellent and, at the end of the day, I reckon that’s the point.Ahoy Phillip! We're glad you a great experience! - Brifree1776Chicago, Illinois53 contributionsMind Blowing Performance!Pirates Voyage Dinner Show in Pigeon Forge is a delightful adventure for families visiting the area. The show is more than just entertainment; it’s an all-encompassing experience that delights all the senses. The food, a crucial part of the experience, is good and satisfying. It complements the show well, providing a hearty meal that adds to the overall enjoyment. The dishes are served in a timely manner, ensuring that you can savor your meal while being fully engaged in the performance. What really makes Pirates Voyage stand out, however, are the performances. The show is a spectacular display of acrobatics, swordplay, and aerial feats. Each performance is executed with precision and passion, making the pirate world come alive in a thrilling way. The performers are exceptionally skilled, bringing energy and artistry to their craft. Pirates Voyage is an experience that combines good food with extraordinary performances, making it a memorable outing for families. It’s a journey into a world of adventure on the high seas, and a must-visit for anyone coming to Pigeon Forge.Ahoy! Thanks for phenomenal review! - PatriotsmuseRSevierville, Tennessee3 contributionsBest Show in resort area!I have attended all major dinner shows at this resort location and The Pirates is hands down the best entertainment for all ages in this resort area. The production was Vegas mid level priced quality and the sets are amazing. The show up in the air is a touch cirque solie- ish and way worth it. The fire show is amazing too. The storyline is engaging with audience participation and not so corny. The live animals , parrots and seals were spectacular. All performers are top notch. The music, lighting and special effects were top shelf too. We all had a wonderful time. The seating is spacious enough, not cramped and provide backs so you have support. The food is basic , adequate , but not anything you would choose to buy again on it's own. We had ages of 60 down to 2 in our crew and we all giggled, gaped in awe, and had a great family event and memory. I do thing the pictures are priced too high $35 and the store was also pricy for souvenirs.Ahoy! Thanks for the awesome review! The Pirates Voyage show was lots of fun, enjoyable and entertaining! The performers were great and very much top notch acrobats. Cute pirate story line that featured live trained animals in the show as well. The food as many as stated was average at best. The peach turnover for dessert was very good though the rest was more cheaper, low quality buffet type food.
I will admit that after to going to this dinner show I am not a fan of the eat while you try to watch a show at the same time person. You are really too busy trying to keep your eyes on the show and catch all the action to enjoy a meal at the same time. This is done so they can get in two shows in one night and maybe also so you don't concentrate too much on the lower quality meal.
Also, for the price of this show, gratuities should be included in your ticket but this wasn't the case. Near the end of the show, your server leaves a card stating that he/she is expecting a tip which has not been included in the price of your ticket. Not what I was expecting after paying over $60.00 for a ticket after service fees. I heard several families grumble and I noticed some didn't leave anything which is bad for the servers because they don't set the policy and they do work hard.

The show and the food were outstanding. The menu we were served was altered from what was on the website but it was still really good. The way everything is choregraphed down to the food coming out was truly amazing. I cannot say enough about the actual show. WOW! Our only issue was we were instructed to arrive 50 minutes prior to show time. We did and had to wait outside for a bit while they brought you in group by group to have photos taken then again had to wait outside the auditorium till about 15 minutes or so before show time. This was the first performance of the day so having everyone stand around didn't make any sense. You could tell that it was a burden to a few of the elderly couples that were there waiting. I would recommend not showing up as punctual as we did but get there in plenty of time prior to the show because it does start right on the dot.

I called ahead to find out what time we needed to be there for the 6:00 show, I was told to be there by 5. My husband and I showed up at 5 only to be told that the doors to let people in don’t open till 5:40, so you are placed in a large room until the doors open. The food was ok, but was brought out one item at a time while the show was going, which was very distracting. Also, had someone coming around trying to sell items and pass out surveys during the show, which was also distracting. The show itself was great, just wish there weren’t so many distractions throughout the show!

My kids and husband enjoyed the show. I did not like it that much. I highly recommend buying tickets in advance( at least a month before). The sooner you buy the tickets the better seats you will get. For a few extra dollars you can get seats in the first row. We bought a few days before the show and Saturday show was sold out,had to buy Friday show. Our seats were at the very top,the very last row.
The food was average for these type of shows. Souvenir cups for the kids were a waste of money. Very cheap and the slushy was mostly water.

It cost our family of 5 a total of $250.00 after coupons. Yeh, that’s a bit expensive for a 1 1/2 hour show, but I will say the show was very entertaining. Our kids ages 10, 15, & 18 all enjoyed it. (Mom and dad enjoyed it also.)
The food was very good. You get a lot!!
Chicken breast, ham, Mac & cheese, mashed sweet potatoes, biscuit & soup, plus a dessert!
We have watched Dixie stampede several times over the years and we always enjoy it too. I think if you have younger kids maybe the pirate show might be the better option, but you can’t go wrong with either. They’re both great shows.
I would recommend going if you haven’t.
Is it expensive? Yes. But you only live once.
So Just go and have fun with your family.

The Pirate theme was very lively and entertaining. Enjoyed the acrobatics and circus style skills. Pleasantly surprised by the addition of animals in the show! Our server Mike was courteous and attentive. The food was good.
Our show was filled more than we expected with the majority of seats utilized (we were told our show would be at a 50% capacity due to COVID). The rows had a decent amount of spacing so we didn’t feel as though our health was being jeopardized. They did a good prescreening with temperature monitoring that moved quickly.
The theater space was on the warmer side which I did not expect but I assume is to keep the pool a certain temperature. There is some water on the walkways when exiting so be mindful with handicapped and mobility challenged individuals on the way out.

I reviewed another show in this same location in 2018, but if you read that review it has this attraction's name on it- the Pirates Voyage and Dinner Show, but it was not that in 2018. It was something like Celebration of Country Music or something like that. This is all part of the Dolly Parton Enterprises family.
The Pirate Show was the one thing I had on my list of things to do on our short trip to this area, so we purchased tickets before we left and found out that all the dinner shows were sold out on the days we were there.
Pro Tip #1: If you know long in advance when you will be in the area, and which show you want, buy tickets early so you can get the show you want and the best seats.
Pro Tip #2: Call the number online rather than booking online. The ticker seller can give you a $3 per ticket discount and you won't pay fees that some websites charge for selling you a ticket.
Pro Tip #3: There is plenty of free parking at the theater, but if the lot is full, park at The Island free parking lot and ride the trolley to the drop off point, then walk about a block to the theater.
Our seats for this show were excellent- front and center- but we had the 12:30 show instead of the 6:00 pm show which we preferred. It was still a great experience. The food was good and there was plenty of it. The actors and performers all did a great job. Tickets were pricey, but a few small discounts can be found. Fun for all ages and tremendous acrobatic performances by the cast of the show. Put Pirates Voyage on your list if you visit Pigeon Forge.

We surprised our pirate loving daughter with tickets on her 14th birthday. I have to say, overall, we loved it. (I'd definitely be interested to see the regular, non holiday storyline though...) The service was exceptional and the show was AMAZING. And that soup is everything we've heard it would be.
One slight negative: Other than the soup, the food is nothing special for the price. I'm sure you're mostly paying for the talent and artistry in the show, but I expected something a little bit better.

Magnificent show! A++++ We researched other Pigeon Forge shows but we chose this one and soooo glad we did. Masks required before seating but, after being deated you can remove your mask. The performers are true acrobats from diving into the water, sword fighting, to swinging from ropes! It is really a great show which includes a dinner which consists of a buccaneer biscuit, a cup of soup, a chicken breast, a ham slice, a 1/2 slice of a baked potato. Apple turnover for desert. But, the show was better than many Vegas shows I've seen!! There was fog, technopyrics (not loud tho), there was special affects lighting. Our waiter Trevor was very attentative. Blackbeard was the star of the show! Well ... maybe the beautiful mermaids were. Well, maybe the sea lion was lol. All I can say is people left our area saying what a great show that was. 10 outta 10 in my opinion. Would see it again if I come next year ... Gift shop is there too. (Hint - bring a plastic knife). No knife is served with your meal. So sit back and enjoy this amazing show.

Overall good experience. We went on a Friday evening and enjoyed the show. Covid precautions where in place with plastic barriers between us and the guests we were sitting beside. The show had a lot of moving parts and was very entertaining. There was music, comedy, light and sound effects along with great gymnastics. The food was good and the peach turnover was excellent. Out family of 3 was about $181 with a Dollywood Gold Pass discount. It would have been 5 stars but there was an issue with the photos that took almost an hour to correct at the end of the evening, had I not already paid for them I would have left. The card they give you when you take the photo at the beginning has access to the same photos much cheaper online.
