We enjoyed a beautiful day touring the back roads and mountains of Sevier County. Malcolm was a wonderful tour director and driver. He has many stories about the mountains and their people. Driving thru the back roads you see where Sevier county's own, Dolly Parton, grew up and where she returns when she visits her family. Driving to the top... More

From the caring, personable attention of Lyn in scheduling our tour, to the above and beyond experience delivered to us by our tour guide Malcolm, our family of six - with kids aged 18, 17, 16, and 12 - enjoyed every bit of our experience with Mountain Memory Tours. I believe our tour guide's name is Wade he wrote and sang a song for Dolly Parton. Anyways he was wonderful. Had so many interesting facts about the town, Dolly and the Appalachian Mountains. Beautiful scenery. A good start of information for your stay in town. We took the Back Roads. Worth the time and money.

We took the combo tour and loved it. Money well spent! We took the advise of other reviewers and took the tour at the beginning of our trip. We learned the ins and outs of traffic and the great spots to visit. OMG! Did I mention the beauty of the mountains??? All the information was on point. I'm so glad... More

Awesome tour with awesome people. Lyn and Ted were fabulous. Only regret was not taking the tour on our first day as we learned so much about the area from them. We took our elderly parents with us and they were so accommodating to them and assisted them at every stop. Highly recommend this to all visitors! Thanks Lyn and... More

Fun little bus ride, we saw places off the beaten path. From the highest peaks, Dolly's old homestead and lots more. An excellent family tour.

We took the trip in October 2015 and loved it. Lyn and ted take you through the back roads to where dolly Parton was born and went to school. Lyn grew up in the area and provides a fun and informative narrative. You then travel up into the mountains. This is a relaxing enjoyable day. If you are in the... More

Took the combo tour with Lyn and Ted and it was SUPERB. Enjoyed the history, new and old, banter and legends. Small group that makes it more personal. My lucky buckeye made it home to Fl. This is the tour to take.

We loved the tour of the Smokey Mountains and all of the additional information that Lyn and Ted provided about Pigeon Forge, Seiverville and Gatlinburg. Lyn and Ted are very warm and friendly. We felt very comfortable with them and felt like we had known them for years. All of the areas we visited and the back roads we were... More

This was a small group which made it very personal. I think that there were 12 people on the small bus. We went on October 19 and I see that three other folks on our tour that day took the time to write. It was a splendid way to see the country. Lyn and Ken were wonderful folks and gave... More
