The 2010 Applause Award winner, Dollywood is recognized as one of the world’s best theme parks. Spanning 150 acres and located in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, Dollywood offers more than 40 rides and attractions, including the Thunderhead wooden coaster, the steel thriller Mystery Mine and Wild Eagle, the first wing coaster in the U.S. Dollywood’s entertainment is recognized worldwide, having received more trophies, 20, than any other theme park for its live entertainment which showcases country, bluegrass, Southern gospel, classic rock ‘n’ roll and Appalachian music. Daily demonstrations by more than a dozen master craftsmen offer a glimpse into the authentic artistry of the area’s rich heritage. Guests visiting the Great Smoky Mountains can stay just a stone’s throw away from Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country at Dollywood Cabins. Accommodations range from quaint spaces just for two to sprawling floor plans that sleep up to 30 people. Guests are treated to sweeping mountain views while some cabins actually overlook Dolllywood’s popular Craftsman’s Valley area. Cabin guests receive exclusives such as free reserved parking at Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country and complimentary admission to Dollywood’s Splash Country.

We get season passes and a great deal. We live close enough to go see a couple shows and have dinner, frequently.

Being from Southern California, I've been to many amusement parks. This one has a different but lovely feel. The park is mostly shows and rollercoasters. The shows are quite long in length about 50 minutes so you would really have to plan your day around which ones you wanted to see. This is Dolly Parton's park and has a wonderful... More

This isn't really a place I enjoyed. I do not like country music. The rides are lame. The craftsman area was interesting, but nt enough fr me to go back.

Our family had a very enjoyable trip! We decided to purchase a pass this year(go 3 times and pays for itself) The staff is all wonderful and very friendly and helpful. There is so much to do for all ages. One of the best parks our family has been to

I'd been hoping to visit Dollywood for years and wasn't disappointed. Great theme park with a variety of rides, shops and other entertainment. Loved seeing all the memorabilia in the Dolly Parton museum. We went in August and it wasn't too busy so no long queues for any of the rides. Hope to go back again one day. Tip -... More

I really hate to post this but feel I should. The price for admission is not worth it. $67 is way to high for the Train not to have been working for some reason and the rides are very short the kids stand in line for and its basically for teens until night time us older people who don't enjoy... Living within an hour away we come to Dollywood usually at least 3 times a year. I enjoy coming to ride the rides and see the attractions etc. Over the years it seems to have gotten a bit repetitive and boring. It seems it gets more expensive every year, not just the admission. The food is way too over priced,... More

We have been to Pigeon Forge ump-teen million times, and why was this our first trip to Dollywood??? We'll be back many more times, I'm sure. We went at the peak of fall colors, and I would recommend that time of year. The shows were crowded, but not a soul on the rides. We rode the roller coasters over and... More
