The 2010 Applause Award winner, Dollywood is recognized as one of the world’s best theme parks. Spanning 150 acres and located in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, Dollywood offers more than 40 rides and attractions, including the Thunderhead wooden coaster, the steel thriller Mystery Mine and Wild Eagle, the first wing coaster in the U.S. Dollywood’s entertainment is recognized worldwide, having received more trophies, 20, than any other theme park for its live entertainment which showcases country, bluegrass, Southern gospel, classic rock ‘n’ roll and Appalachian music. Daily demonstrations by more than a dozen master craftsmen offer a glimpse into the authentic artistry of the area’s rich heritage. Guests visiting the Great Smoky Mountains can stay just a stone’s throw away from Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country at Dollywood Cabins. Accommodations range from quaint spaces just for two to sprawling floor plans that sleep up to 30 people. Guests are treated to sweeping mountain views while some cabins actually overlook Dolllywood’s popular Craftsman’s Valley area. Cabin guests receive exclusives such as free reserved parking at Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country and complimentary admission to Dollywood’s Splash Country.

After being frequent visitors to Silver Dollar City we chose to drive a lot further and visit Dollywood. We were severely let down as we expected something better than Silver Dollar City in Branson. The main differences are at Dilver Dollar City the workers are knowledgeable tradespeople who have made a living doing or making the crafts and talk about... More

We travelled from the UK to Dollywood to celebrate my 40th Birthday. Have to admit my husband was less than thrilled about my plans. Despite all my research I'm not sure he knew what to expect. We travelled from Gatlinburg early on a Sunday morning and parked in the Dollywood lot - I didn't have time to waste so was... More

We love Dollywood and it's family friendly environment. They have Christian themed entertainment throughout the park at Christmas and even during the year. The rides are fabulous too!!

This was our first visit to Dollywood and we really enjoyed it! We can hardly wait to go again. There is something for everyone, from thrill rides to music shows and crafts. Dollywood was far better than I had anticipated.

We stayed at the Dreammore Resort so we rode the tram to Dollywood and went into our own entrance right by the gate. We bought our tickets through the resort so the timesaver device was included for our family of 4. Huge savings! We went the Saturday and Sunday right after Thanksgiving and on Saturday the park was so full... More

I'm not sure what I thought this attraction would be but the shows we saw were truly first-rate. The park staff were super friendly and extremely helpful to us on several occasions. The day we were there, it rained a lot early on so we just went from show to show. The park wasn't very crowded and after the weather... More

Went in late afternoon and the park was really nice especially after sun went down and the lights came on. Stood in line for loaves of cinnamon bread, it took awhile, but it was so good, it was worth the wait.
