The 2010 Applause Award winner, Dollywood is recognized as one of the world’s best theme parks. Spanning 150 acres and located in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, Dollywood offers more than 40 rides and attractions, including the Thunderhead wooden coaster, the steel thriller Mystery Mine and Wild Eagle, the first wing coaster in the U.S. Dollywood’s entertainment is recognized worldwide, having received more trophies, 20, than any other theme park for its live entertainment which showcases country, bluegrass, Southern gospel, classic rock ‘n’ roll and Appalachian music. Daily demonstrations by more than a dozen master craftsmen offer a glimpse into the authentic artistry of the area’s rich heritage. Guests visiting the Great Smoky Mountains can stay just a stone’s throw away from Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country at Dollywood Cabins. Accommodations range from quaint spaces just for two to sprawling floor plans that sleep up to 30 people. Guests are treated to sweeping mountain views while some cabins actually overlook Dolllywood’s popular Craftsman’s Valley area. Cabin guests receive exclusives such as free reserved parking at Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country and complimentary admission to Dollywood’s Splash Country.

We saw most of the shows and in order to do that we missed everything else. We’d hoped to see more at the end but all started closing up at 5:30-6. The shows were good and Aunt Granny’s buffet was good too.

After needing to cancel our planned trip to the gulf coast of Florida because of the Red Tide, we decided to venture west just three days before our vacation. We were fortunate enough to get a cabin through Dollywood Cabins and let me tell you,...More

Dollywood is lovely -- wooded, clean, family oriented. It is also super crowded in the summer (no surprise there) and the food is VERY expensive ($ for hotdog and fries). The rides are great, however the day we were there, 6 rides were closed. Some...More

We were disappointed. A few rides were shut down which left very little to do unless you wait around trying to catch all the shows.

Had a great family vacation there. Crowds weren't bad during August. Wait time was fairly short. The longest time was under an hour. We did all the big rides. Their musical show was ok. We were there until closing. To me it's a one time...More

People may call Disneyworld the happiest place on earth, but maybe that’s because they haven’t been to Dollywood. We love the rides, the foods, the staff, the shops, the shows, and the entire experience every time we go. On this trip, we visited 3 times,...More

We purchase Gold Passes each year and enjoy spending time at Dollywood. We the staff is wonderful and always is very helpful. I recommend all the shows when we go we always try to attend each show at least twice. It never gets old.

I am from Texas and live by Six Flags...so Dollywood was....mah. It was in a very pretty area. I liked that they employ seniors. But not many rides. Very expensive tikcets... glad I found a discount code...wow. Not really anything to write home about.

First the good - roller coasters are awesome- especially the Thunderhead and Eagle. If you want to see the shows and ride the rides you will need a two day pass - one day concentrate on rides and one day for shows because You miss...More

Really well run amusement park. Clean, friendly, fun. The rides are fun, with lots of variety, including carnival like rides and games. Coming from Florida, where amusement parks are very fine tuned, Dollywood is on par. The wait times weren’t overly long, and the ride...More

Yes, they have shows for all ages. Best show is on parkway at dolly partons stampede. That was $40.00 per person for adults and pretty sure discounted for kids. Worth every penny
