The 2010 Applause Award winner, Dollywood is recognized as one of the world’s best theme parks. Spanning 150 acres and located in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, Dollywood offers more than 40 rides and attractions, including the Thunderhead wooden coaster, the steel thriller Mystery Mine and Wild Eagle, the first wing coaster in the U.S. Dollywood’s entertainment is recognized worldwide, having received more trophies, 20, than any other theme park for its live entertainment which showcases country, bluegrass, Southern gospel, classic rock ‘n’ roll and Appalachian music. Daily demonstrations by more than a dozen master craftsmen offer a glimpse into the authentic artistry of the area’s rich heritage. Guests visiting the Great Smoky Mountains can stay just a stone’s throw away from Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country at Dollywood Cabins. Accommodations range from quaint spaces just for two to sprawling floor plans that sleep up to 30 people. Guests are treated to sweeping mountain views while some cabins actually overlook Dolllywood’s popular Craftsman’s Valley area. Cabin guests receive exclusives such as free reserved parking at Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country and complimentary admission to Dollywood’s Splash Country.

The good:Great place, great shows, great coasters, great food! We had a large group and they offered us some good discount rates. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The bad: new coaster wasn't open. We were told by park employees that they are having difficulty with the test runs. Another coaster broke down (the mine one) after we... More

I've loved Dollywood since I was a kid! I think I love it even more as an adult and Im so happy to be taking my kids on family vacations there now. They have great rides for adults and kids. Lots of shops and places to eat. There are also plenty of shows and concerts included in your park admission.

Quick trip with teenage girls. We did purchase the Time Saver pass which was well worth the money. Clean park with good roller coasters and friendly staff.

Parking was made easy; employees greeted us with smiles all day. The live entertainment was top of the line! We saw Country Crossroads. I took my elderly mother, and I would recommend renting a scooter at the park for someone in their 70s or for someone who is generally slow and/or unable to tolerate a lot of walking. The park... Dollywood is so much like Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO. Which I absolutely love. Dollywood is such a unique place. The employees are dressed old-timey, and the whole place is old fashioned in style. You walk into the past. Great food, wonderful ambiance, awesome coasters, just a wonderful escape from everyday life. Dolly's music plays throughout, very cool. I... More

Dollywood was not for me. For the price that was paid, I wish we would love rides. If you love rides and water activities, then you will probably like it here. I guess I was expecting more Dolly stuff then there was.

I always in enjoy Dollywood but their prices are just crazy. If you are going this year the tickets just took a price hike. Of course if you go once, you might as well upgrade to a season pass. lol Everyone usually goes back another time and the upgrade pays for itself!!
