The walk takes you along beautiful beaches and through pristine forest full of magnificent banksias. The island is pristine and our footprint was very small. The tour operator excels at the finer details. From candle lit gourmet meals to beautiful Tasmanian wine and exceptional tour guides. Finn and Jamee were professional happy and incredibly well organised. They happily looked after all our needs. They work extremely long hours. The accommodation in the heart of the forest was comfortable. The highlight was achieving the hike 3/4 of the way up Mt Maria.

What a delight! Spectacular walk with a couple of challenging climbs (and what a view from the top!) Just what a couple of fit 57 year olds were after. Guides were terrific (thanks Finn and Dan) - meals and "glamping" accomodation excellent. The group were great as well and the nightly debrief over wine and cheeze so much fun. Spoil yourself and DO IT!

We have just completed our 4 day trip and what a great trip it was. There were 9 of us guests ,superbly led by guides Emily and Fin. Although we were all a lot older than both of them, within hours they had our trust ,and we all enjoyed their passion for the outdoors, their enthusiasm, and their professionalism along the way . Plenty of wildlife , spectacular scenery, and great and varied food and wine. The walking on the first 2 days is very comfortable. The walk to Bishop and Clerk was difficult for me but I’m extremely glad I did it as the views from the top and during the walk are stunning. The owners, staff and guides clearly have a passion for Maria Island ,and this is infectious. I would strongly recommend this experience to all people who have a Love or at least an interest in exploring this beautiful part of the world . Spend a reasonable time preparing by walking up hills and you will be fine .

I've just returned from the 4 day Maria Island Walk as a solo traveler. The group was 10 with 2 guides. 8 of the group were friends which could have been a disaster for the remaining 2 but they were such a welcoming and inclusive lot. First 2 nights were at camps. Heavy rain made our 3rd day trekking a challenge as we had to remove shoes, socks and trousers to ford a creek. The food was fantastic, lots of Tasmanian wine and we were well cared for. The walk was easy although there is an optional more difficult climb available from Darlington.

Probably one of the best structured walks in Tasmania. The route, campsites, menus and varied itineraries suited to both the weather and the ability of the group show great forethought and planning. Our guides were knowledgeable and thoughtful young women who went above and beyond to meet, and at times, predict our requests. The transfer boat was piloted by an expert skipper who smoothed out the rough passage from Triabunna and made the trip exciting rather than uncomfortable. I'd give this trip 10 stars if I could... Thank you Jaymee, Liv and Ben.
