- GrandTour578746New Orleans, Louisiana29 contributionsNice mall with good restaurant selections.Stopped on to look for jeans because I forgot mine. I have been to the grapevine mills mall and the Katy mills malls before. This one seems much nicer and better kept. We would up going two days in a row.Visited September 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 15 September 2023
- HW08Port Macquarie, Australia387 contributionsBig Shopping CentreOpry Mills Mall is a very large shopping centre located close to the Grand Ole Opry. While it doesn't have a large department store, it has many stores including some Brand outlets. Well worth a visit if you have a couple of hours to spare.Visited October 2023Travelled soloWritten 27 November 2023
- Krr1975Sevierville, Tennessee1,092 contributionsGreat mallStopped here for lunch and some shopping. Beautiful mall with lots of stores and eateries. It was the week between Christmas and New Years so it was very busy but could still get around okay. Most indoor malls are going by the wayside but this one is still a great one!Visited December 2023Travelled with familyWritten 28 December 2023
- hbhakhRoanoke, Virginia2,264 contributionsNice mallWe visited Opry Mills for some shopping and dinner before going to the Opry show. It's a huge mall with many stores......most are typical for outlet shopping. We did buy a few things. There are several nice restaurants and we enjoyed our dinner. You can park at the Mall and go to the show, which is across the lot.Visited April 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 28 April 2024
- StacyChattanooga, Tennessee130 contributionsMall is OK ~ give me back the Theme Park!Just as I remembered, the mall itself was OK. Atmosphere was pleasant, many varieties of stores to choose from. The carousel in the food court is beautiful. Lots of food options (sit down and counter service in food court).Visited June 2024Travelled with familyWritten 9 June 2024
- mmayfield1985Riverview, Florida291 contributionsVery Nice MallThis is a very nice mall (more like indoor outlet mall), and it's very clean and kept up very nicely as well. My mom and I had visited this mall for the first time about a year and a half ago, and on our most recent visit to Nashville, we already visited twice during our stay. This mall has a variety of shops (although we specifically went to the Vera Bradley and Lindt stores). They also had a small hand full of restaurants located there.Visited June 2024Travelled with familyWritten 19 June 2024
- MDahiyaGurugram (Gurgaon), India99 contributionsDecent Mall (but not a must shop place)Opry Mills was a decent experience. I went with my daughter and her friends, and the only few things I didn't really like was that the mall is a circle of stores, so once you leave a store and start walking, you have to take a full round to come back to it. There was a good variety of stores, and the stores were uncommon so it was a nice experience to go in stores we didn't usually go in.Visited July 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 23 July 2024
- Adrianna MElizabethton, Tennessee612 contributionsLots of shopping, but super crowded.Shew! This place was CRAZY! Very very crowded. Probably a great place for shopping, since every store imaginable is there, but if you don’t like crowds or driving around forever looking for a place to park, this isn’t the place for you. You could spend all day there and never go to the same store twice.Visited August 2024Travelled with familyWritten 6 August 2024
- SolangeMEdmonton, Canada285 contributionsAverage outlet shoppingNothing over the top at the outlet. Same stores as usual and not really any amazing deals or sales. Most stuff picked over or no sizing. TJ max don't even bother it was a zoo in there. The kiosk people tried coming around but we just said no thanks and kept walking and they'd leave us alone. The mall itself was pretty clean and the layout wasn't confusing.Visited August 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 12 August 2024

Straight Ahead Scam! I purchased a hot comb from this place in the mall. It’s the little side stores in the middle of the mall which sketches me out. this lady that sold me this was named Jennifer (which was probably not even her real name) and was all sweet and convincing how great this product is. i was so mesmerized by this straighter that i had failed to realize that the one i bought and the one she showed me and used on my hair are two completely different things. Got home and figured out it’s a fake and apparently people’s same straighter MELTED. I had told her i wasn’t wanting to spend so much on a straighter since i had one almost just like it. She proceeded to try and make me deals saying stuff along the lines of “can you keep a secret” and telling me that she made her money off Commission and that she would use some of her commission to knock the price down. which sounded to good to be true but i unfortunately was a victim of this scam that is happening to people every single day in Opry Mills Mall. I don’t even see how this is even aloud and is just sad people make money off scamming people.

This was a very boring shopping outlet. We bought nothing. Of all the outlets we’ve visited in the US, we found this to be the most boring! There was no atmosphere and the clientele seemed rough, as in we actually didn’t feel that safe! We didn’t take any photos, which kind of says it all, as we always take pics wherever we go. Wouldn’t visit again!

Check your freedom at the entrance. Armed "security" ID check at each entry point, to ensure that "no unsupervised youth" be inside...sounds good if you imagine unchecked gang members terrorizing families while shopping, but in practice, I witnessed nice young families being ID'd and harassed at the entrance with kids (preschool age). Once you are allowed inside, be prepared to be asked to leave almost every business unless you are masked...no exception. I realize that private businesses reserve the right to implement policy as they choose, but I also reserve the right to determine my own safety practices and not be persecuted continuously while trying to leisurely enjoy an evening out Christmas shopping. I will not return.
Just a side note, the "unsupervised youth" thing isn't foolproof...my wife and I had to avoid an 8-10 year old on a hoverboard who almost ran us over multiple times. We finally just stopped and allowed him to disappear down the hallway before continuing, so what's the point of all the restrictions at the entrance?

Sitting on the spot of the old Opryland theme park, Opry Mills is the largest mall in Tennesse with over 200 stores and 20+ restaurants. Anchored by Bass Pro Shops, it is vibrant and doesn't seem to be suffering like many malls around the country most likely due to its location in such a huge tourist area. Opry Mills has a great mix of recognizable retailers and unique restaurants like the Bavarian Bierhaus, Paula Deen's Family Kitchen and the Aquarium Restaurant. Also, there is Saltgrass, the Rain Forest Cafe, the Cheesecake Factory and some fast food restaurants. The location next to Music Valley, the Gaylord Opry Hotel and Covention Center and the Grand Old Opry is golden.

Huge Mall, tons of stores. I visited in the middle of the day on a Tuesday and it was quite empty. So slow even Madame T's mentioned they might close early due to lack of customers. But this mall boast some pretty cool stores that are great just for curb appeal and window shopping, being Bass Pro Shop, the Aquarium Restaurant, October Fest themed Restaurant, and some interesting decor near the cinema area. Some good selections at the food court, but also full sized restaurants attached inside. Another perk is many shops offer military discounts as advertised.

Ordered from lunch menu. Also ordered the add on salad. Charge for add on as indicated on menu was 2.99. Server brought bill and charged 3.99. I questioned the 3.99 charge and was informed I was wrong. Paid bill. On leaving the restaurant I picked up the menu. The add on charge was 2.99. Reported this to hostess/staff at the front of the restaurant and the response was it must be wrong in the system and she would report it. No offer of refund.

Each time I visit the area; I take a trip to this outlet. It's great that the mall is enclosed and offers family-friendly options to keep the group busy while we shop. There are good restaurants and stores that are clean. There is plenty of parking available.

Loved this mall.... all inside... warm, dry, lots and lots of shops, lots and lots of food places from food court to sit down restaurants, even a carousel! You can walk to the Opry Land Hotel if you are capable of walking and you can also park here to attend the Grand Ole Opry.....

Opry Mills in Nashville is a great place to go for all things shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. I really like everything that they have available here and you have everything that you need all in one location. I have had a really good experience every time I have been here.

Large indoor outlet mall. Not all stores are outlets so beware. But there is plenty of stores to choose from and lots of dining options. You can get some good deals. Traffic in and out can be a bit crazy during busy times. At the end of the day it’s a big mall but nothing exceptional so I have to just rate it average.

Yes, they do have both. Wheelchair and motorized versions. There is a rental fee if I remember correctly. Check with guest services as soon as you get there. Also, remember that due to COVID-19 that this may have changed a bit. It is a massive facility, so I would recommend getting those to assist you. Have a safe trip.

Does Nashville have last minute discount kiosks for the GOO like New York does for plays?
Written 29 June 2019
I don’t know about tickets. I didn’t notice any ticket kiosks while there.
Written 30 June 2019
Opry Mills Staff, We are planning a visit very soon and I'm concerned over the number of complaints about the aggressive kiosk workers. All of your responses are simply "thanks" instead of anything about what is being done to curb this behavior. I dislike being hounded while shopping and honestly and considering not adding this to our stops because of the complaints. Can you confirm that any action has been taken to keep this from happening repeatedly?
Written 10 June 2019
I moved here in February, I do notice the kiosks and the employees attempting to engage with foot traffic. But, honestly it’s not that bad, in my opinion. Haven’t experienced any “hounding” at all. Finally, as I walk through the mall on a weekly basis I simply don’t pay any attention to kiosks and focus on myself or the company that’s with me. And currently, every time in Opry Mills I have a pleasurable shopping experience and will continue to visit here. Hopefully this helps!!
