We drove by on the tour bus and decided to go back the next day for a closer look. They have a long series of granite structures that trace the history of Tennesee from the glacier days to the current day. We spent about 2 hours there.

Stumbled on the park after visiting the Farmers Market. Everything is Nashville is actually closer than it seems on a tourist map. Great view of downtown and Capitol Hill, it's really worth a visit. You can catch a free bus from the bottom of Capitol Hill back into downtown.

Happened on this park by accident after visiting the farmers market. It's a really cool spot with some interesting sculptures.

The Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park is beautiful and very worth visiting. My favorite part has to be all of the columns that bring to mind ancient Greece. This park is family and pet friendly. 100% worth a visit.

Absolutely worth some time. Wonderful presentation of TN history told along a long wall of polished marble. Great war memorial.

We walked through the park on a Saturday. There is a farmer's market next to it that we shopped in. Then we caught a free bus across the street from the park. It was a beautiful day and we saw dog walkers and families just out enjoying the sunshine. If you are in that area it is a nice place... More

The park is beautiful. Don't miss the Court of Three Stars and the 95 Bell Carillon! Be sure to stand on the tiny silver circle (about the site of a nail head) in the very center and say something. It is amazing! Nashville history is written on beautiful stones around the park. There are other interesting pieces and well deserves... More

Live music and a farmer's market amongst the sunshine whilst children played in the park. Great place to unwind and relax.

There is a walking tour around the park. If this is added in to a visit to the capitol building and museum, it is a good experience.
