This area is a great historical part of Nashville. Right now, it is some street construction and a couple of bars. The sign's letters aren't even completely lit, still. If you're walking past, poke your head down the alley, don't make a special trip.

Before the show at Bourbon Street Blues & Boogie Bar, we had dinner next door at the iconic Skull's Rainbow Room. Absolutely a must when you're looking for a great evening in downtown!!

My husband and I stayed at Printers Alley Lofts for 6 nights in December, over Christmas. Printers Alley is part of the Nashville tourist trail and the lofts are situated actually on the alley. The alley is very unpleasant, it was dark, dirty and full of overflowing dustbins and puddles. The clubs and bars look very seedy, as did the... More

Not what is used to be... Seems to be missing a few bars. Back in the day this was a happening little street, but not so much any more. Still fun to venture down if you haven't been.

I kept hearing about Printer's Alley but truthfully not sure what it is all about. It's a little scary and it wasn't even dark yet. The only thing Printer's Alley did for me was increase my heart rate, make me grab my purse tighter and wonder why the heck I was even here! Maybe I missed something....

I'm still confused. Why is this a place? We wandered around on a Saturday night - saw one bar, but didn't go in. There wasn't anything going on. Maybe its a daytime place? Stay on the strip, its all there.
