Had a little extra time and walked thought the state capital building. Very interesting and freedome to see the government chambers. Worth the little extra time.

A very nice neat clean planned city with free city buses for all and to ease traffic load. The Tennessee river and bridge enhances its beauty.

We took a walk to the capitol area from our 3rd ave hotel. Lots of hills and construction but well worth the walk. Beautiful view of the city, and beautiful structure. Also nearby is the war memorial which is also pretty impressive.

We have visited a number of capitol buildings in the US. This building is definitely not one of the best. The presence of scaffoldings did not help this review

Stopped here to show my daughter a little more of living history. The building itself is beautiful and the points on the self guided tour are interesting. We enjoyed this stopping point and a break from the humidity.

No there is not a dress code, but one should not be required for a visitor, of any age, to the State Capitol. The Capitol is a very historic building and I hope he enjoys his visit. If he has a guide, have him ask them to... More
