I was one of the lucky ones, I got to take my daughter to see this before it was a thing of the past. Sadly, the photos we took have been lost, but the memory will be in our hearts forever. It was truly beautiful and magical in the eyes of my little girl.

The whole Riverfront Park area is under construction (Jun 27.2014) The carousel is gone and the tour bus station resides on the site. Only good thing, you can end/start your walking trip of Broadway if you are lucky to find a parking garage. Suggest, avoiding Broadway and 1st intersection while under repair.

The Fox Trot Carousel is a carousel with historical figures in place of horses. Such figures include prominent Tennesseans as David Crocket, Andrew Jackson, Cornelia Fort and many others. This treasure used to be located at Riverfront Park and rides cost $1. Unfortunately it is now disassembled and sitting in the storage room of the Tennessee State Museum. Hopefully if... More
