That counts for something in today’s Nashville. If you’ve never been to Nashville, then you should go down and see the madness. And since you’re down here, you might as well listen to some Honky Tonk rather than a pop cover band. And since Robert’s has plenty of beer options, solid music, and no cover…well, why not?Visited June 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 10 October 2023
- J G N10 contributionsRoberts Nashville 🤠I visited Nashville for the first time in May 2023. As a fan of Traditional Country, Hillbilly, Western Swing, Rockabilly etc. I was recommended to visit Roberts, and I was not disappointed! 🤠 There is great music to be heard all up and down Broadway (almost 24/7) but Roberts was one place we could go to be guaranteed the traditional sounds which are our #1 choice, and the reason we were in Nashville to begin with 🔥 superb bands/musicians, friendly people, great staff, all round fantastic vibes. right up my street, and can't wait to visit again 🇺🇲Visited May 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 3 January 2024
- Jknaackjr12 contributionsJust Go!Glad someone gave me the tip. 6 dollar fried bologna sandwich, moon pie, chips AND a PBR. Guaranteed best deal on Broadway. Food looked good all around. Drink 2.50 domestics…again, that is almost a 4-1 ratio of beer compared to the rest of Broadway. Friendly service. Nice music. Laid back on Broadway. Highly recommend.Visited June 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 19 June 2024
- GypsygirlPenfieldNankin, Ohio248 contributionsOne of my favorite stops on BroadwayRecommend a stop here for sure if in Nashville/Broadway. Laid back vibe, great music. I thought more of a relaxed, low-key spot compared to the newer bars on Broadway. We are a little older crowd so prefer this. Barmaids, staff were so nice, especially Arlene. It was nice to be talked to and greeted kindly by Arlene after the not so nice encounter with staff at Tootsie's. Guy cooking on the flat top behind the bar seemed so meticulous and everything looked tasty, but we only had fries. Recommend for the cheaper prices, kind staff, and cool relaxed vibe.Visited July 2024Travelled on businessWritten 18 July 2024

The no1 spot on Broadway for Tennessee or country & western music.
Very friendly /helpful staff and "regulars" - made us most welcome every time.
We spent a week on Broadway and this was "the" spot.
Food and drink very reasonable priced
Excellent music until late.......
Our other two favourite places were Second Fiddle at 420 and Tootsies at 422.
But so saying,Nashville is just magical anyway - not only Music City but Party City
[Photo of my good lady with Chris Casello - a well know local musician - always a good night]

Stopped by on a busy Saturday and it was an oasis of calm, good music and excellent service. The other venues were crazy and some had waiting lines. We walked into Robert's and you felt like you stepped into a time warp. Great music, low key atmosphere and reasonable drink prices. We hung around talking to other folks for a while. Highly recommend!

No need to go anywhere else for traditional country music. That’s what they do here. And they do it well. Merle. George. Johnny. Kenny. Willie. Patsy. Conway. They are true to country music - real, original country music.

I've lived in Nashville for over 25 yrs and have been frequenting Roberts a good bit of the time. It WAS my favorite bar on lower Broadway, just a friendly atmosphere and a little retro throwback to 60s & 70s country honky tonks. I would always recommend this place to folks traveling to my city. It genuinely breaks my heart to say the service at Roberts now just sucks. Such unpleasant bartenders. A real meanness to the place. Don't know if it is aftermath of COVID, a constant barrage of customers or just bad hires. Avoid this place at all costs.

We didn’t realize the covid guidelines here which is totally on us. ALL places close at 10:30 therefor they stop letting you in at 10. Our thinking was to have a bite and move on socas not to hold our table for hours - we should’ve as we only got out around 7:30/8 by the time we waited in line to get in.
The employees were absolutely LOVELY! The burgers we great & we’re so glad it was our only stop last night. I’d recommend it 100% but expect to wait in line as you would anywhere!
Allow time, collect drinks at the bar, food will be brought to your table. Masks in unless you’re sitting down eating/drinking.
Crazy times! But we’ll worth it

Super happy to walk in to Robert’s W.W during Nashville visit. After a morning at the Country Museum this was perfect afternoon bar to enjoy cold beer, drinks and listen to music. We stayed for +1 hour and were very entertained. Highly recommend.

Robert’s Western World was a Nashville landmark. It was located on Broadway, and there was no cover charge. I had a local beer and I enjoyed it. The live music and the staff were very pleasant. It can get crowded, but the back of the bar was higher-up and more easy to hold down a dialogue.

Recommended by Cambria Valet. Old time country classics, cold beer, and baloney!
Wandered in about 2 p.m., Sarah Gayle was just setting up. Found two seats at the bar, right up front! Ordered the Recession Special. Fried baloney sandwich, chips, cold PBR, and a moonpie! All for $6! Thoroughly enjoyed Her and the band. Nice relaxed atmosphere, mostly above 50 crowd.

Would a 19 and a 20 year old be allowed in if they aren't drinking, or is it 21+ only?

We have been here several times and have never incurred a cover charge. We were there during Spring Break and the line outside was over 100 persons. As we left at 10:30pm the next two persons were allowed in and they did not pay a cover as they entered.

I do believe I saw some. Nashvi lle is pretty lax about things like that.

Can we make a reservation to guarantee that we get a table?
Written 8 August 2015
I'm afraid that you cannot - but like other replies said there is a good turnover of people constantly. People there are usually up for sharing a table when seats become free, especially if it is just a couple. Seating upstairs is usually emptier, hope that helps you :)
