We were in this venue 3 times and found the music was more old school country. Very honky tonk and as one artist put, PG, Pre-Garth. I enjoyed Roberts and the music. The food was ok and service was good. Definitely check this one out.

We called to this bar every evening for drinks during a four day visit to Nashville. The staff are super friendly and the music is really good. We would really recommend their cheese burgers.

The (seriously!) top-notch musicians played classic country covers-- I sang along with almost every song-- with no rock-n-roll or new country. What a delight! There's no cover charge, but the band passes a bucket once an hour to collect tips. PBRs are just $2.50, and...More

This is what I felt Nashville music joints were supposed to be before I arrived - country music, crowds singing a long with the band groupies leading the way up front, and people outside jonesin' to get in. Robert's is a must-see, but you might...More

Recommended by a local if we wanted to hear some genuine country music / bluegrass. The place was packed, it was nigh on impossible to get to the bar and conversation not possible. The music was good, intact very very good but as much of...More

Absolutely the best REAL country music bar in Nashville. My wife and I went to many honky tonks in our 3 nights there, but we always came back to Robert's. Great music, good people and reasonable prices. I would heartily recommend this place to anyone...More

My husband and his buddies dragged me to Nashville for NAMM. While I am not a huge fan of country music I was game for visiting the Honky Tonks. At Roberts I found an atmosphere that summed up Nashville for me as well as the...More

So, this place is awesome. Small, tight, dingy and a little dark. The bands we heard were local and played their own country rock, unlike many other bars which just had strict cover bands. Drinks are affordable and the scene is great. I would highly...More

This was our favorite stop in the downtown area. Everyone was very nice and the band played more of the traditional country music. I see that a number of people ask about children. There were a number of children there at lunchtime. I had to...More

This is our 3rd trip to Nashville and Roberts Western World is always a must! They play traditional country classics with some of the best musical talent we've seen on broadway! To top off the trip my husband gets his "Fried bologna sandwich"!!!

Not sure either, but we did get i'd. It is a bar, so I would guess not! Great place to hear throwback country music (Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, Johnny Cash). My fave bar in Nashville!

We have been here several times and have never incurred a cover charge. We were there during Spring Break and the line outside was over 100 persons. As we left at 10:30pm the next two persons were allowed in and they did not... More
