"The Bluebird Cafe is one of the world's preeminent listening rooms and has gained worldwide recognition as a songwriter's performance space where the "heroes behind the hits" perform their own songs; songs that have been recorded by chart-topping artists in all genres of music. Located in a small strip mall outside of downtown Nashville, the tiny 85 seat venue is unassuming in appearance but some of the most significant songwriters and artists have performed on this stage.

Any country music fan has to visit the Bluebird. We attended the open mic session on a Monday evening. Doors open at 5.30 but no ticketing so to make sure you get in, start queing early, around 4.00. Once in, it's a tiny little venue with so much history to it. Staff are so friendly, food good, music even better!!... More

Upon arriving from out of state, for a fun night at this Landmark, we were not met with the most " warm Southern style" greeting. Just a suggestion that Abby, taking care of the front of House, did not offer a good vibe to make you want to come back. She might want to just remember that first impressions go... More

We were fortunate to get tickets to see Sam Palladio and friends on our first night in Nashville. Being fans of the Nashville series we were thrilled to be part of his limited, intimate audience and not knowing who his friends would be, were very happy on arrival to find the Shires and Una Healey. The cafe is unassuming from... More

Being a fan of Nashville tv series this was a must see on our road trip and it didn't disappoint. It is only a small intimate venue located in a block of shops-you'd never know it was there!- but a great place to hear live music and as you are so close to the artists it really feels like you... My wife and I were at Chick Night on Thursday and were blown away with the talent. The cafe itself isn't much to see - strip mall, small space, tight seating - but that's not the point of the place. It's about the music which was incredible. I will go again when I'm in town. A must see. Just be... More

Waited in line for walkin and shared a table with the star of the show Kim McLean who was delightful and did a fantastic show. Food and drinks great and the show and company unforgetable.

I had never heard about this place but my daughter watches Nashville and told us about it. We were only in Nashville two nights and it was only open on one of them and because it was open mic night you couldn't book. We queued for two hours and the security guy said that we might not get in but... More

I know about the Bluebird because of the TV show. When we went on the Nashville TV show tour we visited around 3.30pm, it's near the Green Hills area about a 15 minute drive from Downtown Nashville and it's in a strip mall, there were already people sitting in a line to get in to the non-ticketed night at 6pm,... Although difficult to get tickets, it is well worth it if you do. Had a great evening there during a four night visit in Nashville. The place is small and intimate and possibly that's what adds to the charm. We saw four young singer/songwriters perform and they were all good. It will be fun to follow them in their musical... I've watched theTV show. I know about the Bluebird Cafe and I heard that because of the show, the Bluebird Cafe was much busier. I was worried that perhaps it might have lost its charm because of the TV show. But thankfully my worries were unfounded. We went to the Bluebird on a Saturday and heard four major singer song...
