Nice Average Zoo Visit
Apr. 2021
Very nice zoo; traffic flow was terrific as everyone traveled in one direction, so no bumping into others coming toward you. A bit light on the animal exhibits, but the habitats are wonderful - they really care for their animals. Fun to see the Gibbons swinging in a huge open-area pen; the baby Kanga's were cute.

Be prepared to walk, often on an incline. Walkways are nicely shaded.

Small Zoo
Apr. 2021
Bit pricey an very little animals to see. Also the rides were an addl cost. No lions or elephants to be had. It did have nice grounds , and the bears were fun!

Day at the Zoo
Apr. 2021
The price is really good, and a wonderful safe place for anyone to visit. I would suggest maybe going Monday thru Thursday, Friday and week ends it is crowded with lots of Children and strollers.

Great Zoo for the size

We enjoyed the zoo.. it was clean and nicely constructed. My daughter enjoyed putting kangaroos and the little goats. Animals were active that day too.

Plan for a day! Expensive. Not many animals.
Mar. 2021 • Family
This was a great trip, all in all, and my daughter and I had a great time. We went for 2-3 hours and were able to walk around the entire outdoor area (we didn’t have time for any of the indoor exhibits)—however it is very expensive especially when you don’t arrive until 3 hours before closing. I’d think that like many other parks, afternoon visits should be discounted. They also charge for parking and food is extremely high ($7 for a popsicle). A lot of exhibits seemed closed or under construction, so all in all there weren’t a whole lot of animals. I did later find out that for less than half the cost, we could take our entire family to the Evansville Zoo, and I’ve heard it’s much better. Or to Saint Louis, where it’s very large and free. It was certainly a great visit! But definitely plan for a whole day and a lot of walking! Overall, great!

Go for the plantation not the zoo.

The farm/plantation was the most interesting part for me The walk around the zoo was nice but the zoo lacked animal diversity. Not a great place to see a lot of animals but a good place to have more privacy but We went on march 1'st so A lot of animals were not present and a lot of construction was going on. Would love to see reenactors running the farm.with demonstrations.

though the tiger and the rhinos were day napping; my favorite part was when I got to see the turtles, goats, and the lamas close... plus the porcupine was huge.. nashville zoo, and san diego zoo are neck to neck from being my favorite... too bad, there's no polar bears.

First time guests to the Nashville Zoo. Enjoyed the exhibits and animals. We did go when it was cold and several animals were not on display either for weather or work being done to their habitat. Enjoyed the Croft house area just as much. Well worth the price and great escape from the city. Paid online for parking but upon arrival we saw there is free parking. Not sure where the "paid parking" was as there weren't any signs or staff directing. When I asked a staff member they said someone would check for it when we left. No where for that to happen either. Paid for parking we didn't need to. Otherwise we really enjoyed a nice stroll and got a lot of steps in for the day. :)

An ok zoo....
Apr. 2020
Nashville Zoo is just "ok." Lots of walking and really not much to see or do in my opinion. We've been twice and that's plenty.
