We were thrilled to discover the Grand Ole Opry House would be open (it closes during the winter- performances are at the Ryman Auditorium), for the recording of CMA's Country Christmas, during our visit to Nashville. The venue is beautiful and clean, staff friendly and...More

We have been to the Grand Ole Opry in the past, but it has been many years (probably 20). It is an interesting experience and one that we recommend. It is a live radio show and it is interesting to watch the host do the...More

I had no idea what to expect. It seems the show is aired on radio, so they break it up into 4 1/2-hour segments, each with a different host, which means each with a slightly different type of music. Every 1/2 hour was lively and...More

Fun experience no matter your thoughts on country music. In winter it is held at the Ryman, which was an awesome venue.

We had the more expensive seats and had a good view. An historic venue, but we felt the performances and the show as a whole was anything special. We are pleased we went but we would have liked to see some higher grade artists. However...More

We watched the taping of the CMA Country Christmas here and it was beautiful! The lights and decorations were festive and the acoustics -- even up in the nosebleed section -- were excellent!

We were lucky enough to get tickets to the recording of the CMA Country Christmas special. Such a neat experience as we witnessed candid performances and humor from a plethora of amazing legends of country music. Reba did an amazing job hosting!

It’s Nashville. Obviously you need to visit the Opry. The energy in the room is unlike anywhere else. They always have something for everyone and their titles aren’t always listed in advance. The only thing I would do differently next time is to book my...More

I'm a plus size person, the seating arrangement is excellent, they are church type benches and are very comfortable. You will have enough space to enjoy the show.
